by Ali (not verified) on Fri Jan 18, 2008 01:21 PM PSTOf course, this is an isolated case and average Iranian kids do not act like that. But as usual, it is always the worst of Iran that get displayed for the public and presented as the norm. And too often by Iranians themselves. Shame on Iranian.com! Some people's hate of Islam is far greater than their love for Iran.
Iranian Rap dance?
by jeff B. (not verified) on Fri Jan 18, 2008 01:12 PM PSTLots of questions comes to my mind, as an American who is interested to learn more about other cultures.
To me, it is very disturbing to watch, but it seems that it is not that bizarre for others here. I wonder if it is a normal behavior, like an Iranian rap song and dance?
Could it be some type of the practice of sado/mazo/iranian style?
Is it really an average Iranian kid or just an isolated pschyco?
Thanks,
Jeff
Holy crap!
by Milan (not verified) on Fri Jan 18, 2008 01:11 PM PSTIf that's "Love," how would you like your daughter to be his future wife? I'll bet he'll "Love" her to death!
Why in front of the Camera?
by Questioner (not verified) on Fri Jan 18, 2008 01:10 PM PSTWhy would anyone do that in front of a webcam and put it on youtube? I don't trust the source.
Why do we never see videos of Iranian Muslims distributing food to their neighbors and needy people on Tasua and Ashura day, like the majority of Iranians do??!!
Why is that all we see on the news and on websites such as this one, are the extreme behaviors of a few lunatics and never the rational and humanist behavior of the majority of Iranian muslims?!!
What is Jahanshah Javid's goal to publish and promote such videos?
Huge Misunderstang of "Love"
by Kashan (not verified) on Fri Jan 18, 2008 01:02 PM PSTIt's fine to love someone. The civil way of showing your love to someone is to show respect and caring to that individual. If he or she is dead (like in this case) try to learn from him and do the right things he did. What are you going to gain by self mutilating? The kid needs some guidance and I hope he gets it. As far as some adults approving his behavior I think they should re-think their logic.
What Kind of sh...... is this?
by Kiana (not verified) on Fri Jan 18, 2008 12:55 PM PSTDigeh nohekhoomishonam ghertiBazi shodeh!
Why not use rock and roll?
Maskhareha!!!!!!
It is our right!
by XerXes (not verified) on Fri Jan 18, 2008 12:32 PM PSTThis is our faith. If you do not like it leave Iran. We are muslims. We will destroy anyone who opposes us. He feels closer to God. I support this kid. He will grow up a strong muslim. Good for him!
This is obviously a fake
by Alborzi (not verified) on Fri Jan 18, 2008 12:07 PM PSTHowever I will not be surprised by a similar case, so what
there are tons of child abuse every where, some are religion relate (the priest child abuse), some are not (rednecks is Thailand ), as they say in Iran "Gooz be shaghigheh cheh rabti dareh"
sineh nemizaneh, in pesar!
by sheila.dadvar on Fri Jan 18, 2008 11:55 AM PSTwatch this vid again, you'll see that first the soundtrack was added later. there is this other factor that was not mentioned, which could have stayed hidden for the fact that one would see that as an azaadari clip: the kid is not beating his chest, emam hoseini style, he's beating himself up, fight club style. i'm hoping that he did that for the sake of making a video, not that i applaud this kind of behavior. it would be sad if he has behavior disorder, is under awful circumstances and self beating is a norm for him.
We're looking at.....
by Irani21 (not verified) on Fri Jan 18, 2008 11:39 AM PST....the future President of Tehran University.
Khodemoonim, Ours is ONE FUCKED UP RELIGION.

by Anonymous01 (not verified) on Fri Jan 18, 2008 11:33 AM PSTwhen he grows up he will look at this and would say how stupid I was or he would be a submissive man whom like to get slapped. Who should be blamed?!
Who did this
by Farhad2008 (not verified) on Fri Jan 18, 2008 11:27 AM PSTwho is putting these films with English toipc? I bet you have the answer, and the reason!
To: XerXes
by Nazeera (not verified) on Fri Jan 18, 2008 11:26 AM PSTYou did the same out of mere ignorance "Jahl." If you are a muslim then at least once in your life take the Quran & read it all before making any assertion about "devotion to religion."
One has to wonder if this is
by Shaaaaaaaaaame (not verified) on Fri Jan 18, 2008 11:25 AM PSTOne has to wonder if this is real. If this real then the second question is if the child has mental problems. If the chidl doesn't have mental problems, then what the FUCK are these fucking uneducated, omol, so called religious people teaching? I wonder how many of these kids are around, what will their future and the future of Iran be?
He is devoted to his religion, so what!
by XerXes (not verified) on Fri Jan 18, 2008 10:55 AM PSTI did the same in Iran.
