The point to ponder upon is
by Miz Abdol Azim Khaneh Mir Panj & a reversible condom (not verified) on Sat May 31, 2008 01:24 PM PDTit doesn't matter what Ahmadinejad believes in, what matters is what do you believe in? Should they announce that there will be free "gheymeh polo ba noon for those who believe in Imam Zaman" I would like to see how many of you will stand back and refuse free gheymeh polo, thus denying the existence of Imam #12!
That is what the whole concept of Shism is all about.
Why does he not appear now???
by Anon 1 (not verified) on Sat May 31, 2008 01:20 PM PDTThere is enough injustice and corruption in this world right now that would make the real 12th Imam to appear at this very moment...but then, is he real or just a made up story?
your guess good as mine
by Jahanshah Javid on Sat May 31, 2008 12:40 PM PDTInternets, you say Ahmadinejad really believes in what he's saying, I say he doesn't. The only person who knows which one of us is right is Ahmadinejad. Everyone else is just guessing.
Ahmadinejad is a believer, yes. He's a shia Muslim in every sense of the word.
But we should also remember that he is also a human being and a politician. He will lie and make up stories and feed fantasies whenever he feels it's necessary. That's what politicians do, whether you're in the White House or "under the guidance of Emam Zaman".
I have no doubt...
by Kaveh Nouraee on Sat May 31, 2008 12:25 PM PDTthat during the 1970s, this idiot smoked large quantities of marijuana and hashish, listening to Dark Side Of The Moon on his 8-track.
Dear JJ
by Internets on Sat May 31, 2008 11:34 AM PDTI just read your last opinion and I must say (respectfully) that you are DEAD WRONG on Ahmadinejad. He absolutely believes in the crap that he is spewing out and he is convinced of his own path as mapped out by some kind of Divinity. Give a zealot like him power and it will make the world that much of a more dangerous place to live in. He is not too dissimilar to our own GWB ;-)
Are they really that dissimilar?!
by Internets on Sat May 31, 2008 11:30 AM PDTOK, when you listen to Ahmadinejad giving this speech to a bunch of
Mullah/talabeh, he comes across as an intellectually challenged person who is
deeply mired in the Shiite beliefs. However, let us not forget that there are
also other zealots in the Evangelical Christian community who belive in events
such as The Rapture and the fact that something is going to give way in the Holy Land (modern Israel), ensuring the rise of Jesus Christ, the Rapture and the
overcome of Good vs Evil. All pure crap if I may opine.
One interesting observation is this:
He states this, "these people who are occupying Iraq...it is correct..on the
surface it looks like are there to grab the oil and plunder the region...but
when you peel back a layer...they have analysis...they have been informed that
an incident is probable to happen...a Devine hand is is about to emerge to
uproot injustice in the world..."
Now, I won't elaborate any further on the BS and who believes in what not,
but what he clearly states as an obvious observation, many people in the West
consider as the behind the scene motif. The BS explanation in the West was the
lie of "spreading democracy" by the way of uprooting dictatorship/injustices and
substituting it with the buds of democracy, was it not?.
It is rather interesting as to how exactly these are 180 degrees out-of-phase
views that actually do come around a full circle, when connected from one end to
the other.
A VICIOUS CYCLE or perhaps the FULL CIRCLE OF LIFE, anyone?. ;-)
Too smart
by Jahanshah Javid on Sat May 31, 2008 11:12 AM PDTThanks for the clip Party Girl. Ahmadinejad is not suffering from anything. He's no dummy. He does not literally believe in all this non-sense. But he speaks the language of the masses and toys with their religious beliefs... problem is he thinks he can fool all people all the time. :o)
so true!
by dreamer (not verified) on Sat May 31, 2008 10:44 AM PDTAnd I have a bridge in San Francisco for sale! LOL!
The man suffers from Vaginal Madness
by Saman on Sat May 31, 2008 10:32 AM PDTSo Ahmadinejad is basically saying “Imam” is a “manager”. In that case God is the owner/CEO. From the look of things around this crappy international business, both Imam and God should be fired for being so incompetent. Does anyone know how much time left on the probation period before the removal?
I honestly think both the Imam and Jesus are getting high together watching Ren and Stimpy cartoons in their father’s basement. I doubt they’ll ever show up but at least Ahmadi and Bush are still keeping the hope alive. Allaho Akbar!
Maybe, just maybe...
by Anonymous news (not verified) on Sat May 31, 2008 10:29 AM PDTMaybe, Georgie is the same as Emam-e Zaman, and he is starting to sort things out starting with demo in iraq.
If anyone has any proof to the contrary, I am willing to listen!
Likes of this bozo & that rajavi bozo were the kind who criticized shah for ages and eventually pushed him aside to set up their shop as we see today. They haven't done a damn thing for people in the past 30 years except for abuse of the country and its people. And now giving promise that emam-e zaman will soon come and take care of things. Sigh!
Imam zaman is wating for a ladder to leave the well/pit

ToofanZeGreat you did not listen very well did you
by AnimusMoos (not verified) on Sat May 31, 2008 10:04 AM PDTBefore you ask Party Girl if "maman babash farsi yadesh dadan," pay close attention to what Ahmadinezhad states at the begining of the clip. He states at the begining:
Hamina keh oomadan Eragh ro eshgaal kardan, dorosteh zaheresh ineh go ommadan nafto bechapaan mantagharo bebarand. Miri yeh laayeh poshtesh mibini ina tahleel darand. Motalleh shodan keh banaast dar in mantagheh yek etefaaghi beeyofteh. YEK DASTEH ELAHI BEEYAD VA REESHEYEH ZOLM RA AZ JAHAAN BEKANAD. Too Khodeshoon in Harfaro darand mizanand. Donya Enghad tavajoh daran be in Ghazeeyeh.
Translatinon:
"Those who have invaded Iraq, It is true that on the surface it appears that they have come to plunder the oil and win over the territory. But you go level behind this (yes he speak slang) and you see that these people are well researched. They have become informed that something is supposed to happen in the region, that A HAND OF GOD IS SUPPOSED TO COME AND TEAR OUT THE ROOT OF INJUSTICE IN THE WORLD. Among themselves they are speaking about this. The world is paying attention to this."
Then after this section he starts talking about the 12th Imam in detail, and how he is not absent in some remote location but that he is actually managing the world. . .that's the part you are referring to Toofan. He clearly talks about the invading force in Iraq being aware and concerned of the coming of the 12th Imam as the "deeper" reasong for the invasion.
Unfortunately even when you try to interpret this guy under the best light, he comes across as a moron!
Back to my breakfast!

by Anonymo (not verified) on Sat May 31, 2008 09:49 AM PDTIsn't this fellow a 'Dr' in civil engineering or "traffic transportation planning" or somethin?! He should leave these kinda delicacies to Mullas!
I guess he is saying when Hillary answers the phone on 3 am that what's she would be taking about! :-)
We've got a couple of pres around who talk too often to GOD and know too much about divine
plans!! There lies the problems for rest of us mortal earthlys!

Any buddy is into
by gottalove (not verified) on Sat May 31, 2008 09:49 AM PDTAny buddy is into translating "shiee-gary" by Kasravy?
I guess we need historians with Gut (like Kasravi to tell the real story )
I am not saying any religion (specially Soni, Shiee, Bahaei or Sophi or ... is better than the other).i am just beyond frustrated with the abuse that Shieegary has done for Iran. I guess the only way this can stop is with the help of a great writer (like Kasravi ; //en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ahmad_Kasravi )to shed some light on this issue. I wish I was in a different field to do something about this .it is sad that none of the Iranian historian (Like Abas Milani) are not into this. But is there anybody out there to start working on this ?
I guess supporting a writer with this goal is the biggest Pay back for any of us ( specially the big shots) to Iran.
Translation
by Jahanshah Javid on Sat May 31, 2008 09:47 AM PDTToofanZeGreat... others... Translate this clip from start to finish what Ahmadinejad is exactly saying. Thanks.
Its actually good
by Alborzi (not verified) on Sat May 31, 2008 09:31 AM PDTIts good that he keeps opening his mouth, some people take him seriously. He is an idiot, even the mollahs know it, but to them he is better than the liberals. He is their idiot.
Seeking Refuge with God!!
by A Muslim (not verified) on Sat May 31, 2008 09:27 AM PDTA recent statistics from IRAN shows that about 70% of people are not able to read Quran & that such finding is a shame for an "Islamic!" country.
Now here comes a clear proof of that. This so called Muslim as the president of such country is shamelessly ascribing divinity & the earth's/universe's fate to sometning besides GOD. Seeking refuge with God from listening to such "Shirk" and asking for his forgiveness. Amen.
Absolute disgrace to Persia..

Uhm.. no
by ToofanZeGreat on Sat May 31, 2008 09:17 AM PDTThat was not what he said.. listen again.. he says that "some people think that the 12 imam is somewhere running his own life etc.." he says nothing about the US invading Iraq because of the Imam.. I mean the guy is a shithead, but to post his shit and even interpet his shit wrong is more shit than shit it-self, from "wipe israel of the map" to this. Farsi maman baba behet yad nadadan?
