What Iranians would give to go back in time.

If they had the possibility of being less ignorant, which maybe they did not with the popularity if islam and communism those days, I'm sure there would be 30 million out in every city...

especially the families of the 1,000,000 or so dead iranian verterans and the dead veterans themselves.

Alas, you have to know what freedom is, to know whether you have it or not. It's got nothing to do with democracy as aristotle taught and knew.  And too many people just don't know how good they had freedom and lost it through their own irresponsibility, which lead to generations of tyranny for all.
