Thanks for the positive perspective bro, normally I don't care enough for MEK to waste time on them considering they're mostly a long forgotten cult however the hoopla surrounding the closure of Ashraf has generated a wave of pro MEK propaganda in order to generate sympathy for them...

What made me write this article was the absurd audacity of one such MEK sympathizer whom had placed the blame of Ashraf on you and I and the rest of the society as if we took their hands to Ashraf and forced them to join a cult, this delusion that we're responsible for their individual actions had to be addressed and I think I did a decent job as this article was shared about twice as much on facebook as the original pro MEK propaganda, testament to group's poor popularity versus popularity of truth.

On a serious note: try not to confuse the victim with the torturer. MEK went crazy and did a lot of bad things, but it was the IRI that drove them crazy, through torture and murder.

Many people hate the MEK, for many different reasons, but the truth is that; they were fighters, relentless fighters against Khomeini's evil. But they didn't realize that if you really try to fight evil with all that you have got, you may end up becoming very much like him.

Some people here,  being ruled by their emotions ( excluding actual MEK members just pretending-- hard to tell) , probably read a couple of links on MEK website, or watched a MEK video with some nice music.  Those links probably tried to make the reader/ listener empathize,  and preferably leading to sympathize  with MEK members and their  reasons to hug Saddam and attack Iranians.  They try to appear logical & cerebral,  and they are anything but.  These MEK folks are a sneaky bunch.  Their MO is to rule by psychological manipulation, and unfortunatley a few naive people, innocently believe their explanations.  These gullible people, are probably the same type, if let in a jury, would shed a tear for a serial killer, and accept whatever garbage a defense attorney feeds them, and let the killer walk!  Such bleeding hearts!

My next two cents

The issue of the MEK has become so polemical by the incessant IR propaganda against them that it is generally impossible to have  a normal discussion on the topic.  I don't think deev is an IR agent (at least I have no evidance as such ) but I think he/she (may be) informed only by IR's propaganda  (not knowingly).

The Iran Iraq war is a very complicated matter:  who was the real aggressor? who were the mojahediin really fighting, was there really an intent for treason?  I think the circumstances around that awful war is so complicated and different from a straight forward patriotic war that to make decisions and comments about the fate of a few thousand Iranians stuck in Iraq one needs better information and keener judement than the party line of the are Khaen and to hell with them.  I have not once heard a sane discussion on this topic.  

Any way for the interest of freedom of speech, I think even a deev is entitled to expressing his opinion.

By the way deev; the saying is: outnumbered but not "outgunned".  ;)
