SOLUTIONS FOR IRAN
Preliminary draft in progress
PART 1. PRINCIPALS OF UNITY OF ALL IRANIANS
DEFINITONS
WE THE PEOPLE OF IRAN, BELIEVE IN OURSELVES AND OUR POWER OF PEOPLE.
WE THE PEOPLE OF IRAN are more powerful than any internal or external forces who try to dictate control or decide for us.
WE THE PEOPLE OF IRAN have the power to determine our own destiny.
WE THE PEOPLE OF IRAN STAND UNITED
WE THE PEOPLE OF IRAN believe in the following common principals of unity:
WE THE PEOPLE OF IRAN are one nation comprised of different regions, religions, cultures and languages. WE THE PEOPLE OF IRAN proudly defend and believe in the territorial integrity of our ancient country IRAN. OUR GOVERNMENT OF THE PEOPLE shall not compromise the territorial integrity of our country Iran.
WE THE PEOPLE OF IRAN determine our own destiny independently. Our country IRAN is and shall remain independent of any foreign forces. OUR GOVERNMNENT OF THE PEOPLE shall maintain our independence free of any foreign influence and control.
Separation of Religion and State :
WE THE PEOPLE OF IRAN mutually respect our different religions and personal beliefs. Our GOVERNMENT OF THE PEOPLE will remain separate from any religious institutions and influences. Our GOVERNMENT OF THE PEOPLE shall not promote or oppose any specific religions or personal beliefs.
In order to secure the Separation of religion and state, the future secular constitution of Iran should prohibit participation of any religious or religious based groups in different local and national institutions of the government. This would also extend to anyone who holds a religious title or profession such as Mullahs and alike. Religion and religious groups will have freedom to practice their religion peacefully. This does not mean there is no democracy but in fact it is the only way to insure preservation of a secular democracy AS WELL AS the freedom to practice one's faith and religion.
This also does not mean that individuals within the government would not have religious preferences but they can not constitutionally enforce any religious laws and restrictions. This way the Separation of religion and state will not be just a slogan but a practice in all levels of the the system.
Future constitution of Iran unlike prior constitutions would not state any official religion for the country either and therefore would not even need to allow special seats for religious minorities because it is secular in nature and everyone is treated the same regardless of their religion or lack of it.
WE THE PEOPLE OF IRAN have the right to express our views and opinions. OUR GOVERNMENT OF THE PEOPLE shall provide all safety and securities for open and free exchange of views and opinions and it may not violate the right to freedom of expression under any pretext or circumstances.
WE THE PEOPLE OF IRAN, MALE AND FEMALE are equal and have equal rights. OUR GOVERNMENT OF THE PEOPLE shall provide all safety and securities to assure that gender equality is fully exercised and implemented
Human Rights :
WE THE PEOPLE OF IRAN respect each others human rights. OUR GOVERNMENT OF THE PEOPLE shall assure that the human rights of all Iranians are respected and defended and it shall not violate our human rights under any pretext. OUR GOVERNMENT OF THE PEOPLE shall approve and implement: The articles of Universal Declaration of Human Rights, International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights and the Convention on the Rights of the Child.

Stage 1:
STAY HOME UNITY DAYS: Iranians do not attend work or schools on these days and STAY HOME (except the required personnel in charge of health, safety and basic necessities of the public)
Stage 2:
UNITY MARCH : It is important not to start any unity march plans unless it is assured that substantial number of people have stayed home on prior national strike days and that they are prepared to join the march.
The peaceful reconciliation and unity marches are announced in advance. They are intended to be very peaceful and all the precautionary steps must be taken to assure that they remain that way. Local and international media as well as United Nations, Amnesty International and alike are informed in advance.
At this stage the slogans only address the social issues (see above) and calls for national unity and equality.
In the event the government announce the marches as illegal and does not issue permit, the marches are still to be carried on and if the access to the assigned locations are blocked, the nearest unblocked spots to the assigned locations should be used for gatherings.

Dear Teapot
by David ET on Sat Dec 06, 2008 02:55 PM PSTIran Reconciliation And Unity Movement should maintain and promote a website with blogs open for public .
As for me and my views at least for now I am blogging in Iranian.com and backing up some of the articles on peyvast.blog.com
Thank you for your suggestions.
Dear David: Let's promote
by teapot (not verified) on Thu Dec 04, 2008 09:22 AM PSTDear David: Let's promote your blog. write a short blog about your site to streamline your efforts.
Dear Teapot
by David ET on Wed Dec 03, 2008 01:50 PM PSTIf you click on my name above, you can see all the blogs on the new iranian.com.
I have also maintained an un-promoted blog but inconsistently at : //peyvast.blog.com
Inconsistently, because I was so busy with Stop Child Executions ( and later Obama Campaign) , that I hardly had time to do much else.
Ever since I reduced my responsibilities at SCE and Obama won, I have had a little more time to address other issues.
Thanks for the suggestion.
You are on the right track but...
by teapot (not verified) on Wed Dec 03, 2008 10:26 AM PSTDavid jan: Would you please start your own blog and put your articles in one place. You can call it the grass root resistance or unity blog or ...
It's free on blogspot. If you need help, please let me know.
As it stands right now, your articles are scattered and hard to find. thanks.
Dear Irandokht

Khastegim dar raft ;-)
Dear David
by IRANdokht on Tue Dec 02, 2008 07:13 PM PSTI've been following your solution posts closely and I think you are correctly adopting this recent American election's secret of success. The community organizing method is the way to go about it. Unfortunately there are a lot of nay-sayers in the Iranian community abroad and as you have noticed yourself, there will be a lot more people voicing a negative opinion instead of opening up to new possibilities.
I like your approach and I hope that by repeating the message and elaborating on details, we can all overcome the obstacles that essentially reside in our own psyche, namely believing in ourselves and uniting for the core values despite our differences.
Thank you for putting in the effort

by David ET on Tue Dec 02, 2008 04:42 PM PSTIf nothing else, I am at least trying to show that we can think beyond the past and look forward to solutions.
My ideas are stupid, idiotic and not intelligent? I have no problem with your views, that is your right, but PLEASE come up with some smart, wise and intelligent answers of your own than only trashing others. ANYTHING!
What I see among Iranians in Diaspora (with all due respect) is that we have much more to contribute to JJ's dreams (again with all due respect) and Reza Pahlavi's dip in the pool or what happened in 1953 when most of us were not even born or small kids, or what happend in Cinama Rex.... things that we had and have no control upon .....than what is facing us TODAY in 2008 and where we CAN make a difference even if it might be small.
Of all the lines of the presume "nonsense" that you claim I have written in this blog, I can BOLDLY claim one thing as a fact and that is:.
We are still stuck in the VERY VERY FIRST LINE of this article:
BELIEVE in ourselves
and the day we do, the rest , however way that might be, shall follow. That is an undeniable historical fact that I sign my name to:
David

by jamshid on Tue Dec 02, 2008 02:53 PM PSTShahrex, take it easy! I follow David's writings on unity, and I find them to be interesting and worthy of reading. Knowing that you probably are not a pro-IRI person, I don't understand what is your problem anyway?
Repetition is the mother of not knowledge, but belief!
by Shahrex on Tue Dec 02, 2008 02:26 PM PSTI really am getting bored and feel somehow disrespected by this unfortunate colomn writer who disrespects the reader's intelligence, colomning piles of simple statements, old facts, and playing the role of supreme leader.
Read his long writing excercises here, the only association you get is the scene in a mosquee where an illiterate charlatan called Molla, predicts about every thing , every one, every time and every where for a bunch of idiots sitting under and infront of him applauding the stupid old Mulla, praising thearabic speaking allah, and forgeting their own mind, heritage and culture.
Greater writers, thinkers, politiciens , journalists and artists have been repeating still more complex, sophisticated knowns and unknowns to us during long times, none of them has ever been so boasting, so self blown up as this latest megalo, and it makes me really angry that no one else is telling this man that he at least should read 100 times more than he talks and 1000 times more than he reads.
It is his right to continue to play the role of an modern political ayatollah, a leader, or whatever he wants, but it is my right too, to reject idiotism and pseudointellectualism.
And it is your right to continue to applaude his mediocrity, after all it is one part of our national psycho-social heritage that the majority of Iranians are looking for shepherds to lead them, some found it first in the moon and then in Jamaran, some find him in Ahmadnejad and in Jamkaran, and still worse, in opposition, some find it in Ayatollah Boroojerdi, Rajavi,Montazeri, Jazani, Kianoori,....
And there is still another fraction in the so called opposition whose only characteristic is playing the role of a shepherd, unfortunately this fraction is the most stupid one, because they have not underestood that they are NOT PLAYING the role of a shepherd,.....THEY ARE SHEPHERDS, without sheeps, dressed humanly!
I never cease to wonder and get surprised by the high intelligence level and the informative contents of David's ensha-nevisi.
You see, he again has shown us the solutions right in front of us, and we ignorant syupid idiots have been blind to see them. As he showed the solution in front of the Shah, to him, post-mortum, in his open letter to his son!
First we all were paganists, and then came Prophets, the shepherds leading the flock o sheeps to the right destination, namely the slaughter house.
Then came David, and showed us the enigmatic solution of the problems beyond our understanding.
From now on, you can no more say "we did not know", David has shown us the way!
