i really appreciate all your efforts in collecting
old and long-forgotten songs from the good old days. that's why i wish
you had not written
those lines about googoosh as a role model.
please close your eyes for one second and try to concentrate. try
to respect the wish of a woman who wants to be remembered as a singer
not
anything else. she wants to be on the stage not a plaything for people
in the mass media. she has been trying to shy away from any activity
which may cause a fuss around her in the past 4 years after coming
out of seclusion. please respect her idea as a human being and as
a woman.
i know your opinions as woman have always been suppressed in your country,
now you are suppressing others by your wrong remarks.
please try to understand for god's sake, we live in the 21st century.
a person should have her private life. this is none of my business
how she acted with her husband or father. i just love her voice, her
choice
of lyrics and songs, her unique performance on the stage and the passion
in those lovely black eyes which reminds me of the beauty and innocence
of country i left behind 24 years ago.
many people like you in the past four years tried and tried to destroy
her image in the eyes of her people.. accusing her of being an agent
of the islamic republic, sent by khatami, having antisemitic opinions
, not attending sousan's funeral ...... but with no success. she is
simply the best and she knows it quite well. her private life belongs
to herself
and this is none of our business to tell her what she should have done
with it. i think she reads all your comments and watches all those
personality assaniations on tv and she laughs in her heart. she knows
quite well
that she is in our hearts and even people who attack her and are jealous
towards her admire her talent.
i make you an example. mr shahyar ghanbari was the one who started
many personal attacks against googoosh since her historic come-back.
but when
she asked him to work with her he accepted in a jiffy. all those accusations
and claims about VATAN and MIHAN were gone. you know better than me
shahyar craved for working with her all those years. and it shows many
people
who attack her , love her in reality and deep in their hearts. some
just feel jealous, and some need her support. but amid all these fightings
she remains the same. simply GOOGOOSH, the grand diva of all times. god
