July 21, 2004Top * She's human Dear Azam, [Iranian diva] I remember four years ago when Googoosh was still in Iran nobody expressed any grievances towards her. But when she came out of her shell and started her tour people started whining and accused her of not living up to their standards one way or another. Please forgive my language but your comment was the most ridiculous of all. If I am not mistaken you are bitter against Googoosh because she failed to get a divorce soon enough to encourage other women to follow suit and get separated from their husbands. Oh my God. That was nice. Wow. Good standards for judging on the achievements of one of the greatest and most popular artists of a nation. You make divorce sound like a haircut.
As if girls could go to the court and say we want a Googooshi divorce,
just like the way they used to go
to the beauty parlors and ask their stylists to make it Googooshi for
them. You have every right to hate an artist, but problem arises when you try to dissuade others from loving her and blame your own son for the kind of music he likes to listen to. And finally I think your lovely son has a wonderful taste in music and I am so happy listens to Googoosh aziz even if he as access to so many other kinds of music. |
