Time breaks behind the eyes of

All the things we know,

All the griefs from long ago

All the exoduses from our lives turned to engravings thrown

Hastily in hidden and burnt leaflets

Hurled off of rooftops as echoes whispered beneath raised fists

Clasped in the comets that you and I have named.

Housed inside the starry advice travels the wind as it rounds us

And replies

Remember that we were once strangers

And time smiles as it remembers us
