It aches from within
It pounds with every breath
Its waves pound the shores
The Ocean gods are mad
Heart that’s clear as water
Filtered through sands of life
Open to be hit any moment
Can not be otherwise
Who is there inside
Don’t disguise and dare
light can wipe the darkness
Let in the one who cares
A heart that’s old
This heart may be scratched
Its rare to see one’s heart
Mine shaped like mirrored glass
It hurts and aches with pain
It throbs with every pulse
In search of inner core
To see if that heart loves

A real poem
by prince in exile (not verified) on Wed Apr 01, 2009 07:18 PM PDTSimply elegant. I loved the sincereity and the honesty of this poem. Although it shows the strength, it also shows tenderness. A being, having the complete package. Definately the real one.
Thank you

Let in the fresh breez, inhale and come alive
by The real Princess on Wed Apr 01, 2009 11:11 AM PDTDear Poet, Farhad Z:
Being familar with your work, I can only wish that you too have, or are on your way to reach your miracle as life without it has no meaning.
Receiving praise from a Grand poet such as yourself means a lot . Hopefully, I will inspire you, and be worthy of them someday.

by FarhadZ. (not verified) on Tue Mar 31, 2009 07:05 PM PDTI read your poem one more time. I am sure it is just a beautiful poem and nothing more. But, if there is any hint of reality in it, the depicted pain, exists, however small or big, you should not shy away from but rather welcome and embrace it.
There is jewel in pain's many layers.
Naiive souls either distract themselves with whatever means available or just fall onto its helpless cycle of ego feeding.
Pain allows growth, expansion, detoxification and capacity for joy. Use it as a tool. Add solitude as a companion to pain and miracles will happen.
Pain is a gift from God/Universe so that true happiness and joy can have their rightful spots in life.
Learn to dance though it!
by Dancer (not verified) on Tue Mar 31, 2009 11:15 AM PDTBeautiful and stronge images to point the dilemma of opening the heart or not! without opening the heart, you never know if the feelings are true, by opening your heart "specially when it is shaped as mirrored glass which filterd through sands" you are vulnerable to pain and scratch!
I have not figured out a rule for that, but I know I don't want to miss the experience and i would be fine if I learn to dance through it.
A beautiful poem
by FarhadZ. (not verified) on Mon Mar 30, 2009 01:17 PM PDTMy your heart, or anybody's heart, always be blessed with expansion, beyond the "whatever" pain. Pen more verses, it has amazing effects.
