by cyclicforward on Sat May 01, 2010 10:22 AM PDTThe fact of the matter is that business of running government and politics is an ugly business and it is not in the domain of religion. In fact, government and religion operate in two different domains and ideology. If you get the religion to run the government then that religion loses it's credibility and it's core values. You can clearly see that in Iran of today and also in Catholicism during the dark ages. Trust me, keep religion and government separate and things work far better for everyone.

by tabriz_balasi on Sat May 01, 2010 09:58 AM PDTI hope u're right. Islam no doubt is very appealing. Islam also hast a say in many domains of human life, such as morality, economic, and law. So, Islam can never stay out of politics, but it definitely should't be institutionalized. NO velayyate faghih, no Mulla's as Judges, but if the president happens to lead it's people according to the principles that he learned from Islam and he's elected fair and square by people, then that is a different story. equality between all religons, and people, and sexes should be the number one priority of any government that replaces the Evil "Islamic" government.

by cyclicforward on Sat May 01, 2010 08:52 AM PDTThe fact of the matter is that in new Iranian government there will be no place for religion and hhat would be your personal choice. i can assure you that in future there will be more people like you who are Muslims and practice their faith and there are others who hate any form of religion. You should be comfortable with that fact and it is their choice if they like to attack Muhammad's teaching. You should not agree with them or preach them.

by tabriz_balasi on Sat May 01, 2010 08:27 AM PDTAmerican Gov. is not neceserily better than iranian gov. American gov. just killed millions of people and at the same time they are friends with the dictators. so obviously they don't care about democracy and they kill people for their national interests. all governments are filth, it's only people that can build their country, however we have alot of ignorant people like you that blame Islam for iran's problems and don't see the real problems such as our culture. Islam says the believe in the truth of your best thought and act accordingly.

Iranian Muslim deserve to have such a govrnement

I am muslim first
by tabriz_balasi on Fri Apr 30, 2010 08:12 PM PDTthere is no question in my mind that I am muslim first, but that doesn't make me less Iranian than you. and i'm not pious or a good man, NOOO, i am moraly the same as any one else. I only have one thing that distinguishes me from you, and that is my LOVE is Muhammad. that is the only thing that I can not deny or hide. I love him so much that I feel his love is the only real thing. Muhammad is a pefect man and when Khamenie claims to be his representativre, that makes me mad as hell. I have more reason to hate Khamenie than you. not only he destroyes my country, he's a disgrace to my religion. I have more reason to hate Islamic Republic than you and other atheists. If I let Khamnie countie with his bull shit, I believe one day I will have to explain that to God and His prophet.

Are you Iranian?
by mimi.shishi on Fri Apr 30, 2010 06:47 PM PDTI mean yeah we know now you're a pious muslim, but are you really Iranian?!!
See if you were Iranian you would know that even among the most pious Iranians, still there are two different Iranians, 1. those who consider themsleves to be an Iranian FIRST and a Muslim SECOND, and 2. those who consider themselves to be a Muslim FIRST and an Iranian SECOND....
Might seem trivial to you but it makes a HUGE difference on how each individual sees the world.
Also FYI thanks to the Islamic Republic, people live in a very grey zone now...by people I mean the younger generation under 30 who are the majority of the nation, have access to internet and satelite and use their brains to find proof of any claim, Islamic or otherwise.
I feel confused...
by tabriz_balasi on Fri Apr 30, 2010 04:03 PM PDTI am a muslim and I love Muhammad (saw) with all my heart, it was Muhammad that taught me what love means and I shed tears for him when I am alone. At the same time, I think the Islamic Republic is a crimianl gang that has taken Iran and Iranian hostage. When I listen to this lady bash Islam, it hurts me, it frightens me that after I help to destroy this evil government in Iran, another dictatorial government might replace it that will be anti-religous, anti-islamic. I don't want that. Why can't we just unite against these Mullas without making fun of Iran's religion which is Islam. Many of you don't realize the fact that majority of Iranians are still religous, they might hate this regime, but they love Muhammad and they worship Allah with all their heart. We want a free Iran that people respect each other, no matter what their believes are. I hope some of you anit-religous people come to your senses, because at the end of the day, we, religous people are less afraid of dying for our blieves than you. atleast accept this much.
