The first Nowruz was not when a king lit a fire.

Nowruz is not when day is equal to night.

It is not when earth does a full circle.

It ain't when the calenders change.

Nowruz does not launch with a fish startling a turtle.

The first Nowruz is ...

when you start to love me

where I can love you back

the moment we begin the forgiving

the peace we can believe

kindness without reason

hope without an excuse

a happy day.

Thanks Darius for spelling this out. It has nothing to do with Saami tribes whose pictures are used in this blog. Nowrooz is nowrooz, you can love other people in it, or do anything else that you wish, but you can't change it to something else.

It is NoRooz.   Stop arabifying Persian words.   Dear Arash please be advised that there is a deliberate attempt ongoing to arabify Persian Words, ala Mowlana, Khawrazmi, Ahwaz, .......
