Nice but monotonic voice
by Darie on Fri Mar 19, 2010 04:52 PM PDTHer style reminds me of the great Korush Yaghmaie but she doesn't vary her voice much; it all sounds the same thoughout. Nevertheless is does sound soothing!!
I would marry her if I were single...
interesting
by alireza on Fri Mar 19, 2010 02:21 PM PDTSoothing voice, and well done.
however, I call this deklameh rather than singing. She definetly looks cute and playful. but just deklameh does not make you a singer, or perhaps I am wrong!
the chords of the song are also from Arash sobhani and how he deklameh during his songs.
perhaps I should say similar to Dire straits
in any case, good one
Very pleasant to listen to
by Ahmed from Bahrain on Wed Mar 17, 2010 01:28 AM PDTI actually closed my eyes, seriously.

Sex Appeal
by moftaki on Tue Mar 16, 2010 04:26 PM PDTTake her sex appeal away and no one would want to listen to her singing! Sex sells even among avantguard Iranians.
Honest Opinion
by legofish on Tue Mar 16, 2010 02:24 PM PDTI have known and worked with Arash and respect him both as a person and as a musician.
Ms. Shad has many redeeming qualities and talents - as evident by her confident anchoring at VOA - but I'm going to be the first (it seems like) to say that singing is not one of them.
Certainly opinions on voice and singing style are matters of personal taste. But singing off-key and out of tune is hardly subject of debate.
I would never want my friends or fans to encourage me doing something I'm not good at, and much rather they be honest when I produce bad work. I wish the same for Ms. Shad.
so soothing
by capt_ayhab on Tue Mar 16, 2010 01:47 PM PDTShe has such a soothing romatic voice.

I see why she is called LUNA (maah)! she is maah!
by obama on Mon Mar 15, 2010 10:03 PM PDTi like the photography, lighting, colors, composition and her glasses! she would make some romatic lady for a lucky guy. At least by the way this clip. I hope she is not snub, then it would be a turn off. Good luck to her in whatever her dream might be.
Soothing and beautiful
by Multiple Personality Disorder on Mon Mar 15, 2010 07:31 PM PDTI enjoyed the lyrics and the voice. Very nice.
Soft as a whisper...
by Nazy Kaviani on Mon Mar 15, 2010 06:52 PM PDTThis is so sweet and so beautiful! I'm impressed with Arash Sobhani's composition that on purpose demands the song to be whispered. Luna Shad's singing is excellent experimental music, full of soul and love. Good work.
