Beautiful Music, Beautiful Song, Beautiful Lyric
by BabakPeg on Sun May 23, 2010 02:21 PM PDTOnce or twice listening was not enough to fill my soul. As Darious put it this way: it was an uplifting experience as opposed to what Shajarian and alikes sing what I call "Naleh".
Bacheh Irany, don't you worry, it may take two or three more years before the Islamic Republic bite the dust and annihilate. I am just sorry for those who cannot accept others as they are and have to control everything as limited as their selfish mind can perceive. Interestingly, these kinds of people call the Western cultures as selfish.
And Kombizz, Shamim is presenting her strenghth in expressing a poem and as you've admitted, she is doing it excellent. The way she decides to present her appearance is her decision and not yours!
A Beautiful And Worthy Endeavor

Nice song, but i am worried about her eye & lip caught in rings
by obama on Sun May 23, 2010 08:34 PM PDTHonestly, regardless of one's political affiliations, when I see a modern european thinking girl and guys with iranian background care enough for her parents' homeland that they go through all the trouble to produce a song outside of Iran, that touches my heart!
More power to you and all of those involved in producing this beautiful traditional song solely for the love of Iran! Bravo! Love you! God bless you, whether you believe in one or not!
Someday we might say: Free at last, Free at last, God all mighty...... MLK.
IRI, i have nothing against you or ur RAHBAR..BUT,
by bacheh irany on Sat May 22, 2010 01:00 PM PDTyou go ahead and keep your islam, prophet, emam zaman, roozeh, masjid, namaz, basij, sepah...or WHAT EVER THE F... YOU WANT!!! JUST DON'T TELL ME AND THE OTHER 70 MILLION IRANIANS WHAT TO DO OR BELIEVE IN...if YOU think i am going to hell for not liking all the above then THAT'S MY PROBLEM!!! oh yah, you don't understand the meaning of democracy, because i must be just a "GHARB ZADEH"...just keep on thinking that way because a day will come when your RAHBAR runs to pakistan or gaza with his tail tucked between his legs and leave you behind with millions of PISSED OFF IRANIANS!!

Very Uplifting
by Darius Kadivar on Fri May 21, 2010 02:32 PM PDTChanges from the pessimistic and often melancholic mood ( a la Shajarian ... ) which often transpires in our Iranian traditional music and nationalistic songs.
This one makes me on the contrary want to join a Rally like the French would say : la fleure au fusil
;0)
Beautiful
