It concerns me  
when we joke about catastrophes

It concerns me
when millions stare at the tube, to watch one man’s misery

It concerns me
when in our scale; the price of oil is heavier than freedom

It concerns me
when massacre is justified to prevent the unknown

It concerns me
when the accused becomes judge & judge becomes executioner

It concerns me
when revealing truth, is penalized

It concerns me
when hospitals advertize

It concerns me
when the side effects are more terrifying than the disease

It concerns me
when there is a price for a smile

Great poem. All the points that you raise are valid and these days I see so much advertising in which we are reminded of what you wrote: "It concerns me
