پرده تمدنش را کنار زدم

تا آبشاری از مرمر سپید نمایان شد.

دستهای زمخت و تیره رنگم

با هیجان سرگرم ستایش آن اعجاز شدند.

… چون حمله بربرها به شهر روم


رقص جاودانه آدمها در گرفت،

وحشیانه و با ماسک‌های رنگارنگ.

جادوگر پیر بر تنبک پوستی‌ می‌‌کوفت،

تا ساق سیمینش با زنگوله‌ها سمفونی بسازند.

… مثل آنشب، در بزم زولو ها


از تمدنش،

از بربریتم،

از تمام قبیله وحشی،

جدا ماندیم.

… به سبک موش های آزمایشگاه.

The "civilized" facade (which one way or the other, has been injected into our brains from childhood) can only be truely understood and decoded, if we study our evolution and links with the animal world.

Divaneh jan: that's why objective science studies the mice to understand the many aspects of the man's characteristics.
