Marg Bar Khamenie is being heard across Iran tonight
by Hamr R (not verified) on Sat Jun 13, 2009 05:30 PM PDTThousands of fires are burning across the country. Gas stations, banks, government building. People are chaning Marg Bar Khamenei. Down with dictatorship.
Twitter
by Big Boy on Sat Jun 13, 2009 05:18 PM PDTReports from Iran saying people have burned a number of government offices; Larijani and Rafsanjani are in Qom (Khamenei should be worried about this); Khatami's brother and his wife have been arrested; and Sharif university professors have resigned en mass.
This is picking up momentum...just the beginning.
Karoubi in Protest
by Mort Gilani on Sat Jun 13, 2009 05:13 PM PDTFolks,
I am following this on twitter. This thing seems to be much more than what is shown in Iranian.com. People are taking over police stations.
To Mr. J.A.P.: Shut the f*ck up.
Iranians are
by Baseh (not verified) on Sat Jun 13, 2009 05:11 PM PDTHuman like anyone else. Stop pontificating, get off your lazy ass, and go help!
Iranians hate each other, and evidence of that is the fact that they despise a despotic regime that takes away their rights and abuses them?!? What?! Taryak-keshidan chize khoobi nist, agha...
Marg bar jomhuriye eslami va 'Ahmaq'-inejad!
same old story- really sad but predictable
by MehdiNYC (not verified) on Sat Jun 13, 2009 05:02 PM PDTI was not really expecting much in the days leading up to this election. But the excitment exhibted by the young people gave me hope that even Iran can change. That was not the case. So, I am now going back to my former (and correct) observation that unless there is a real revolution to purge us from these scumbags who use religion to rape, steal and kill, Iran will never be a 'republic', democarcy, or anything else resembling a legitimate gov't. It is just a bunch of dahti men growing beards and saying religious things to get paid. that is all... I'm glad my parents got our family the hell out of there.
deeply entrenched characteristic...
by just another perspective (not verified) on Sat Jun 13, 2009 04:55 PM PDTThis is a true reminder that the root of the matter resides and has resided deep into the DNA of each and every Iranian for the past several hundred years.
Iranian have no genuine LOVE, Respect and Regards for one another. Period.
This has been the history of Iran, regardless of the ruling party. The problem is deeply rooted in each Iranian. After all, they are all Iranian under whatever the ruling system that turn on each other.
The country is ever divided (and has been) not because of external elements but because of it's own people's true essence.
Stop blaming others, external forces and nations as this has always been an internal disease deep in the fibers of Iranian.
Iranian just can't stand Iranian; can't stand to see another Iranian succeed, excel and elevate. You can see this lack of unity in sports, government, social and business dynamics.
The way Iranian discriminate against each other is clearly evident in how each regime brutalizes its very own people. No animal colony ever does this in nature.
Stop blaming others. It starts with Iranian and ends with Iranian.
No out side element has ever caused such a division but Iranian themselves.
Until the day that Iranian truly enjoy, love and cherish seeing another Iranian at any given moment this division, brutality, crime and disgrace will continue...
This is not a time for a "I told you so" comment
by Mort Gilani on Sat Jun 13, 2009 04:28 PM PDTThese brave children now need our support. At this moment, it is not enough to sit and let them have a fight with IR's thugs. Does anyone know how Iranian expatriates can help? I am thinking about gathering in front of Islamic Republic embassies in green color with candlelight. Maybe the world would notice too. Please help.
That's Enough

Shame on Khamenei
Shame on Ahmadinejad
ASSASSINATION
by Iranian top gun pilot (not verified) on Sat Jun 13, 2009 03:09 PM PDTIf ahmadinejad shows his face in public, he will be assassinated and wiped off this earth. I'm betting and give him maximum of 6 monthts for to survive.
Burn that house of lies, torture and death ...
by Shazde Asdola Mirza on Sat Jun 13, 2009 02:46 PM PDTمرگ بر جمهوری اسلامی
