Rostam Khan Amir Bakhtiar, Chief of Protocol at the Pahlavi Court from 1953 until the end of Pahlavi Dynasty in 1979. Like Queen Soraya whom he served, he belonged to the Powerful Bakhtiary clan. (circa 1950's)

I saw this film last weekend and was astonished by the emotional suspense, good acting and great cinematography which made me even forget it was an Iranian movie. The film is also an indirect tribute to Antonioni's L’Avventura.
