In my last blog I stated that I had guessed that person who attacked my religion and me to be a Baha'i. The fact is that I had absolutely no evidence for it that the person was indeed a Baha'i extremist or not!
It was just a guess. Well, there is a problem with that and that is, even implying that I guess it's this or that itself can put tarnishing effect on the good people of that faith. It's bad enough.
So I do apologize for that on sensibility reasons. There is also a religious reason for that which according to Quran, "... excessive suspicion is a sin ...". So there you have it, two good reasons.

The reason for this blog ...
by Anonym on Fri Sep 18, 2009 10:10 AM PDTis just to correct my mistake of accusing without evidence. I am just glad that there were people nice enough to accept it.
I know that the people who post anti-Islam or any anti-religious post on this site can be anybody. But that's not what this blog is for.
One could imagine for example after a bad event happenning, if someone from news media in this country would say without proof, "I guess Muslims are behind it!". How much it would hurt the innocent Muslims? Well, I put myself in Baha'is position and I hated what I had said.
No,you can read Baha'i books ...

Also note that the last response here informing you of this fact was deleted.

by Anonym on Thu Sep 17, 2009 05:01 PM PDTThanks for sharing the information and I have to say that it is quite sad.
Learning is essential for all mankind and I deem it nessasary for myself to learn more about your faith.
But I do think that the apology was needed. I would be unjust if I didn't.
Best wishes to you too.

Dear Anon
by faryarm on Thu Sep 17, 2009 04:22 PM PDTPlease feel free to express yourelf in any upcoming Islam-Bahai Dialogue.
I believe that in essence we all worship the same God and share the same basic values; of course not counting the bigotry, dogma, empty ritual, superstition and corruption that the self-serving leaders of today's Iran have brought in the name of Islam and the Holy Book.
As a Bahai, it is important for us to uphold the validity of Islam, despite the actions of its leaders; upholding its Divine origin and its civilising influence as a new regenerative spiritual force in the 13th century and its contribution to raising Europe from the dark ages.
As far as fostering friendship and unity between Moslems and Bahais, It is always good to remind our Muslim friends, of who the very first believers of this new Faith were; some of whom were among the top and respected islamic scholars of their time; new believers who suffered terribly with torture and terrible death.
From within my own family, I know of a very stuanch opponent of Bahais, who as a Mojtahed, debated and argued with the Bahais about their claim for over twenty years; one who eventually accepted its authenticity and the truth of its new message; who as a result suffered immensely.
One day being the object of respect as a Muslim scholar to the next as a Bahai, having to endure the persecution, the fall in grace, not to mention the day to day death sentence.
This is a familiar story , repeated a hundred fold in many families; in itself a good subject for discussion, as to what it takes for one to believe and the stand behind it.
best wishes
faryar

Anonym, why you bust my balls?
by Farhad-e-Kabir on Thu Sep 17, 2009 03:47 PM PDTtesty, aren't we?
I just asked you a question and you got all mad on me.
And, oh, I've always been Kabir. In fact all the Iranians who do not submit to your relgion of the peace are Kabir.
By the way, I am not Bahai, but I accept your apology, don't let it happen again, though. I am thinking you actually are one of them peaceful muslims...You should go back and live with your co-opressors though.West is full of infidels.
No need for apology..
by faryarm on Thu Sep 17, 2009 02:44 PM PDTResponding to your kind post , and responding as a Bahai, good or not;
there is no need for apology; everyone is ultimately responsible to a much Higher Authority.
You are obviously one who respects himself and his beliefs.
best wishes
faryarm
That's real nice
by Farhad-e-Kabir on Thu Sep 17, 2009 12:37 PM PDTAre you what they call a "peacful" muslim?
