In the name of God the compassionate, ever merciful
The protection, renewal or correction to the path of something that exists or is going somewhere is the key for its success.
Take for example an aircraft that has to transport important cargo many times to a variety of destinations over the span of many years and has to reach its destination precisely and safely if flown by good and seasoned pilots. If for example one is careless and uses incompatible parts to repair it or have just anyone trying to fly it, it either crashes out of the air or reaches the wrong destinations.
A divine religion is in a way similar to the aircraft example above that it has to be protected, maintained and its path corrected if need be. The one who decides those for a divine religion is the one who created it, God the creator and the owner of all that exists and there is only one divine religion today that has that capability and it is Islam under the continued guidance of the members of the Household of the Prophet (SAWW).
Unlike other faiths who depend on men who are selected by other men to come and attempt correcting its path or provide guidance, Islam under the guidance of the Household of the Prophet (SAWW) does so with its divine members such as divine Imams.
Sureh Al-Aaraf 181:
“And among those We created, is a community which guides by truth and thereby establishes justice.”
How one can recognize an Imam is not the subject of this writing but it is an important part of the faith. The perfect example would be that of Imam Ali (AS) who was the ultimate divine Imam but was not recognized as such by many people due to manipulations, deception and planning done by the enemies of God.
The members of the Household of the Prophet (SAWW) are considered among the upright (Saleh) people whom God guides and purifies them as He wills.
Part of Sureh Al-Ahzab 33:
“…Allah intends only to remove from you the impurity, O people of the (Prophet's) Household, and to purify you with (extensive) purification.”
The book of guidance for Moslems is the holy Quran and only the ones appointed by God such as Prophet Mohammad (SAWW) and after him, the members of the Household of the Prophet (SAWW) can correctly present it to the believers and non other.
Sureh Ash-Shura, Verse 51-52:
“It is not fitting for a man that Allah should speak to him except by revelation [for example to the Prophet (SAWW)], or from behind a veil [for example to Prophet’s Household (AS)], or by the sending of a messenger [for example the Prophet (SAWW) himself], to reveal, with Allah’s permission, what Allah wills: for He is Most High, Most Wise.“
Those dear believers who read and understand the holy Quran in the context and interpretation of the Prophet (SAWW) and his Household (AS) are the believers who are on the right path. For these people the great poet Hafez has said:
“The demon will flee from the community who reads Quran”
"و دیو بگریزد از آن قوم که قرآن خوانند"
Thank you for reading this.
