Something totally different for a change.
I believe dreams have their own meaning and hope some of you ladies and gentlemen can explain what this dream mean.
The SUBJECT:
A young boy, not more than 6 years old, very intelligent and bright with a wonderful heart is the person in this dream. He was gifted (psychic powers) and with his little heart loved all creatures large and small. But he was surrounded by bad people and they saw him as devil’s child for being different, pure and better than them.
The Scene:
A jungle with lot of trees and difficult to pass through.
The Dream:
The boy standing in a clear patch of the jungle. He was worried because his senses were telling him there were dangers lurking behind those trees. He was so frightened that he could not go anywhere, in any direction. So he started to pray, even though very young, he was very sure god loved children so god loved him too. Then suddenly an all white UNICORN with big wings landed in front of him, almost like it appeared from no-where.
The unicorn looked at the boy and with his eyes told the boy;
“get on my back and I will take you somewhere better”.
The boy said you are too big and I can’t get on your back.
So the unicorn got small and smaller until he was as big as a pony. Then the boy got on him.
As the boy was still adjusting himself on the back of the unicorn, it returned to its normal size and took off.
Somehow the boy’s senses told him this will be the flight of his life which he suddenly woke up.
What do you make of this dream please share it. As far as I know there is not any mention of unicorn in Iranian culture or old stories that is why it makes this dream strange. I meant the boy was Iranian.
Thanks.

I already told you, I am gonna give you a hard time and also confessed that I do not know anything about dreams.
I was just making conversation with you and had no intention to question your dream. But my true belief is that your dream has nothign prophetic about it .If this was a childhood dream by now either all or part of it has happened and you should know about it.
Thanks for sharing it with us and I wish you luck pal.
Dear Darius
by amirkabear4u on Thu Jul 16, 2009 02:34 AM PDTYou said,"This dream is full of contradictions ", let's see;
- Why a psychic child can not be affraid? Who gave you that idea, they are just psychic that is all, they know there could be danger.
-Just because a child loves animals WHY shouldn't he feel there are dangers. It seems you do not considered even liking animals they still could be dangerous.
- What do you mean by,"Ask yourself who is in the jungle?" You need to explain.
Thanks.

by Nazy Kaviani on Thu Jul 16, 2009 01:46 AM PDTI don't know anything about dream interpretation. If this were a gifted young boy, it is likely that his imagination was at work here. Was it a prophetic dream? I don't know. According to a source I checked, here are the different meanings of the elements in the dream:
Unicorn
To see a unicorn in your dream, symbolizes high ideals, hope and insight in a current situation. It also symbolizes power, gentleness, and purity. Alternatively, it may represent your one-sided views.
Jungle
To dream that you are in a jungle, signifies aspects of yourself and your personality that may be inhibited. You may be experiencing some chaos and unpredictable circumstances in your waking life. Consider the phrase "it's a jungle out there!"
If you are lost or trapped in a jungle, then it indicates that your negative feelings are hindering your progress, You need to come to terms with aspects of your unconscious.
Ride
To dream that you are riding an animal or vehicle, symbolizes the path and direction of your life. If you were riding away, then it suggests that you need to distance yourself from some issue. Alternatively, it may indicate that you are going along with someone else's plans and ideas. In particular, to dream that you are riding a bicycle, motorcycle, or horse, symbolizes the rhythm of some sexual act.

Flight
To dream of flight, signifies a new sense of freedom where you had initially felt restricted and limited

Amazing!
by darius on Tue Jul 14, 2009 10:13 AM PDTWell let me start with Zulfaghar comments, Zulfaghar aziz ,you sound very knowledgable to Sufis World and you are the one who posted Kadivar video. Are you by any chance the same person?I mean no offense honestly. Your discription of the Sufi is mostly from a man with theology background or one who has studied Islam in depth.
This is how , I see the dream of yours Amirkabir aziz ,don't get mad at me because I am going to be mean to you.
The child in this dream has psychic power yet is afraid of the surrounding! The child loves animals small and large yet he thinks beyond the trees there are danger?Ask yourself who is in the jungle?
This dream is full of contradictions and all I can say represent the child personality, may be insecure and always looking for help.I do not see a miracle dream but I know horse in Persian dream is the sign of nobility and good fortune and when u ride on one, that means you will be prosperous.I don't beleive you have had a prophetic dream .
I hope you didn't have this dream when you along with the rest of family at 9 pm Tehran time and you were served abgoosht.
I guess your best pick is Zulfaghar's.
Dear minadadvar
by amirkabear4u on Tue Jul 14, 2009 06:28 AM PDTThank you for your effort. But I should have added this dream is not recent at all. It goes back to a long time ago. I also do know it is very dificult to make sense of dreams.
Dear Amir
by minadadvar on Tue Jul 14, 2009 06:59 AM PDTThanks for clarification. Depending on what was going on at the time of this dream, you might been trying to resolve and overcome a difficult situation in your personal life.

Symbolic Interpretation
by Zulfiqar110 on Tue Jul 14, 2009 04:06 AM PDTThis dream has all the features of what amongst the Ahl-i-Tariqat (i.e. Sufis) is called a Ru'ya-i-Sadiqe (a veridical vision). First note, however, that within the dreamscape one enters an Imaginal world (i.e. mesaali, which is not an imaginary word but Imaginal, viz 'alaam-i-misaal). This is a syaesthetic world the soul enters in the nocturnal state of mind between the boundaries of space-time and atemporality where bodies becomes spiritualized and spirits become corporealized; a place where symbols and archetypes within the psyche take on postive, animated content.
Now, to use Sufi symbolism in order to unpack the dream, the boy-child in the dream represents the soul itself (ruh). Always the spiritual rebirth of the soul from dross to illumination (ishraq) is symbolized as the valad-i-ruhani (the spiritual child). The jungle with its perils represents the material world and its changing vicissitudes. Its darkness represents the cosmic crypt or material prison in which the soul, as it were, is entrapped in this material life from its true home in the World of the Orient of Light, i.e. malakut.
The Unicorn, a symbol of sanctity, spiritual power and authority (like the Buraq of Islamic lore), is the visitation of an Angel of Light to the soul, and every appearance (tajalli) of an Angel of Light (in whatever form) is in fact an appearance of God in the form that is the innate capacity of the visionary to receive. But this Angel of Light is also simultaneously the soul's own Perfect Nature (tabia't-i-tamm), it's true Spiritual Governor (mudabir-i-ruhani).
This dream is about palingenesis, spiritual re-birth, and the ascent (mir'aj) to the Source of All-Good, the Light of lights (nur al-anwar).
A very auspicious dream! Good things are coming to the one who had it, but with it will also come much responsibility as well.
