To all good Muslims who might wander through this site. I wish you a happy Ramadan (Mahe Ramezan) and hope that your dedication, self control and sacrifice is rewarded. Also I am sure that during this holy month, we understand a bit more about the hunger and suffering of the poor and the needy and spend more in their cause. If we can remove the pain, suffering or worry of even one needy soul, then we have achieved great success.

Dear Zulfigar110, thank you as well.
Dear Tahirih, your thoughts and words are noble indeed.
Happy Ramadan , to all of my Muslim family and friends.
by Tahirih on Sun Aug 23, 2009 07:54 AM PDTI like to share this quote from Mahatma Gandi with you regarding Rasoleh Akram:
I wanted to know the best of the life of one who holds today an undisputed sway over the hearts of millions of mankind.... I became more than ever convinced that it was not the sword that won a place for Islam in those days in the scheme of life. It was the rigid simplicity, the utter self-effacement of the Prophet the scrupulous regard for pledges, his intense devotion to his friends and followers, his intrepidity, his fearlessness, his absolute trust in God and in his own mission. These and not the sword carried everything before them and surmounted every obstacle. When I closed the second volume (of the Prophet's biography), I was sorry there was not more for me to read of that great life.Tahirih
Ramadan Mubarak
by Zulfiqar110 on Sat Aug 22, 2009 09:37 PM PDTHappy Ramadan to all our true Muslim brothers and sisters everywhere, especially those true Muslim brothers and sisters in Iran who are the real mu'minin (believers) engaged in fighting for freedom and the overthrowal of the yolk of political tyranny and fascism masquerading as religion in the homeland of the Imam of the Age.
May your prayers and supplications to the Almighty Lord of all-being be accepted at the Court of Its Presence, and may the Divine grant your every aspiration and heart's desire, and ours as well, in the coming year. And when you recite the Dawn Prayer (du'a sahar) during these auspicious days, recite it with all your heart and being, remembering all those who are not with us any longer or are otherwise languishing in the prison dungeons of tyrants for testifying to the Truth. And may the 23rd day of Ramadan, which is the Night of Power/laylu't-u'l-qadr, be for you Light upon Light (nur 'ala nur) like none other.
Amen!
Happy Ramadan to all the (true) Muslem
