I agree with the logic of your last comment entirely. Problem is you are asking the impossible. Afterall, the 'sogoli's of IC are of the caliber of the 'bright bulb' on this very thread. Given that standard, don't you think your expectation is a bit unreasonable?

contributions from talented users whose work in shared on Facebook--and even placed in Balatarin, as one of Fesenjoon's Persian blogs was, matters.  These contributers add value to the site.  In that light, they should be given more consideration than a non-contributing member.  At the very least, they should be given at least a warning before they are blocked.  

Fesenjoon put efforts into his blogs.  He designed photos for them.  His work showed careful and meticulous editing.  He did all of that because he respected his work, and the quality of the site, much more than many other contributers, myself perhaps included.  In return, he should have been given some consideration.  Don't you think so?

Seriously, I will carry on with my protest boycott.  It's my choice.  People can follow suit if they want.  And if they don't, that's their choice.  No hard feelings.

Talent is not the issue

But self control. Every person who has been blocked had little self control. You can't just post comments full of insults and keep expecting Admin to clear up the mess on a daily basis. They've got enough on their plate, and they want to run a reputable site . If your comments get deleted then you should get the message. Don't abuse!

The Boycott Issue

 For it to have an impact there needs to be a massive participation, It must be doshman shekan:))

But since some of the members refuse to do so, i suggest we downgrade it to girlcott for now and see what happens!! That would be a democratic thing to do.

I really did not follow fesenjoon too much. only recently I read couple of his blogs.Therefore, I will not participate in the boycott. . i will only participate in a boycott if a writer that i like gets blocked like Esfand, or myelf.

I didn't care for his writing so I just stopped reading/commenti

But to learn that he is blocked is both shocking and absurd and I add my voice to many others here to stop this non-sense blocking and invite him back.

Like many are saying, creating another userID might be easy but driving some one out, telling them they are not welcome is another matter which many may just choose not to come back and that would be a loss for IC and its readers.

Fesenjoon was in a few

Fesenjoon was in a few arguments with various people.  Unless Admin makes a specific comment, my guess is that Fesenjoon's comments got flagged one too many times and brought the wrath of the new Admin. 

If he comes back from the 72-Virgin-ia-land of shahids, we have to ask him how AV and SP are doing and definitely ask him to change his avatar.

PS, this blog was blocked from additional commenting for a few minutes just a while ago.  So, AO - watch your derriere.

DM & Faramarz - the boycott idea is great!

The idea of boycotting the site in protest for a week is great.  I will not comment on the site (except for this blog) for a week in protest.  I encourage everyone else who wants him back to do so, and leave a comment on this blog stating why they are boycotting the site.

Fesenjoon's writings were great!

he is extraordinarily talented, both in English and in Persian.  There are only a few other bloggers on this site who share his talent and his writing abilities.  And the best evidence of that was all the Facebook "shares" that he got on his blogs.

Incidentally, I think that the blogs are still there.  I just checked on the one that I had linked to in this blog of mine, and it is still there:
