settled in India accepted Baha'i faith. The secret movement of this new
religion had misled us in the past. We have been misguided ...

strictly hearsay
by i am a bahai too on Tue Sep 14, 2010 04:48 AM PDTOnce again, hearsay from a devoted naysayer. A true Zarashti would never indulge in such behavior. Can the commentator who seems unwilling to let go of his dead bone, indulge us with genuine Zarashti wisdom? It might strengthen his case as spiritual/religious commentator.
If he believes in the words of his own quotation, "May we be amongst those who are to bring about the transfiguration of the Earth" couldn't he expound upon the light of the Supreme Being's goodness and greatness, instead of bashing Baha'is?
Just asking.

by Aryana-Vaeja on Mon Sep 13, 2010 08:49 PM PDTHowever much the Eric Stetsons wish to beat a dead horse and dress it with a new outfit, Bahaism is not a genuine religion to warrant such things. It is a political movement masquerading under the cloth of religion and spirituality. As such an apology of the kind you describe is completely worthless because it only addresses a fraction of the problem. The problem is Mirza Husayn 'Ali Nuri (aka Baha'u'llah) himself, his claim and the darkness he has been responsible for unleashing on the world by spawning Bahaism, i.e. the perpetuation of the ahrimanic negation. Baha'is as a whole must one day apologize to all Iranians and then to the Bayanis and then finally to the Zoroastrian community, who dislike Bahaism (not individuals, but the ideology) just as much.
You may wish to note as well that it was a Zoroastrian (not a Muslim or Bayani) member of the second majlis, Arbab Kay Khosrow, who first submitted Mirza Husayn 'Ali Nuri's recantation letter to the Iranian parliament for posterity. For years the Baha'i authorities have attempted to obtain the original of this document, but have failed. The Zoroastrians know the real score about Bahaism and how it is rotten to the core. Given this, it is time for this community to step forth and break their silence and speak their minds about this and a lot of other things.

THIS IS THE BIA!! YOU CAUGHT ME!!! : P
by i am a bahai too on Mon Sep 13, 2010 11:39 AM PDThello, hello calling agent zero, calling agent zero . . . psst . . .hello, hello nadeem khan/wahid/nur/dariush/aryaan? its me, masterminding Baha'i. '
the one you lose sleep over.
I realize it is almost impossible for you to write anything spiritual or religious without bringing us up!! look how the thread was supposed to be about Zoroasterianism but has become another corner of you obsessing with yourself about Baha'is . . .
How effective we are!!!
Nevermind if I'm 5'2" and 110 pounds and can lift an astounding 32 pounds with both arms! I am serious espionage material. I was recognized as a spy before I was born!
(my cover will be perfected after my nose-job)
You should know . .. my kindergarten teacher, my grandmother, my grocer, and yes, my dentist are all part of my vast network. Even my goldfish have recording devices.
I go to the edge of town and count seagulls each day so I can "report" their movements. Every kabab house within a 60 mile radius of my home is under deep surveillance.
Bagali Polo or no Bagali polo? . . . that is the question . . .
I have significant contacts with underpriviledged children and lonely-hearted seniors who "spy" for me at a moments notice. I know, I know, they LOOK like they are enjoying themselves but it's a PLOT, A PLOT I say!!! We will yet overcome the dark broodings of human lonliness, isolation and neglect.
That is our plan, our "nefarious" goal. . . . the human heart free of woe!!!
agent zero? hello agent zero? psst . . .hey nadeem khan/wahid/nur/dariush/aryaan? can you hear me? your tea is ready!!!
Why, you ask?
by Cost-of-Progress on Mon Sep 13, 2010 06:06 AM PDTBecause we Iranians are always "kaaseye dogh tar az aash".
We embraced - with open arms - a group of savages that murdered and raped our ancestors.
To this day, we continue to embrace this blood thirsty cult as they continue with their out-of-control mayhem and campaign of murder from bombing night clubs to wearing unhealthy vests that go off in the middle of crowded markets - the sad thing, for them, is that for every infidel they kill, there are hundreds of fellow muslims that perish along the way.
Nice going people. A long as you keep your islamic mouths shut, you continue to be part of the problem...., i.e., ISSSSLAMMM!

by amirkabear4u on Mon Sep 13, 2010 02:31 AM PDTa lot of minority groups are mentioned on this including gays. Gay right is more discussed than well being of this group. Someone who is excuted or going to be executed by IRI, no matter how criminal, gets more support. Then they all claim to be TRUE IRANIANS.

Why is Zoroastrianism under-represented on Iranian.com?
by amirkabear4u on Mon Sep 13, 2010 01:37 AM PDTBeautifully said Aryana. You have good points.
you said, "Zoroastrianism is where Iran and Iranians maintain their historical roots of religious views and practices. But barely is this ancient creed mentioned here."
MAYBE IT IS BECAUSE ALL THESE GROUPS FROM PAHLAVIS AND TO THE OTHER FANATCS DO NOT AGREE OR APPROVE WHAT PERSIAN IS???????
I know for fact the previous government, like the present one, tried to abolish this old religion.
Fairness and Equality in Justice
The golden words of Eric Stetson that I liked very much.
by nadeem khan on Mon Sep 13, 2010 01:15 AM PDTA day will come when the UHJ of the Haifan Baha'i Faith will apologize to the Baha'is of the world for the excommunications of Bahaullah's family, for the policy of calling people Covenant-breakers and shunning them, for the stifling of Baha'i religious scholars and historians, for the mistreatment of homosexuals, and many more things Baha'i leaders have done wrong. That day will come, or the Baha'i Faith as an institution will die or just dwindle away into a small and meaningless cult.

by Aryana-Vaeja on Sun Sep 12, 2010 11:47 PM PDTThat aggressively peddle their creed like it was the latest product on the supermarket shelf really have nothing to offer because true spirituality has nothing to do with any of this. They can work as much overtime as they like. The bottom line is their competitiveness and combativeness with all other creeds proves them hollow because it proves they are desperate for recruits to justify their existence. And this is a vicious circle that is completely against everything that real spirituality represents.
But that said, the Iranian Zoroastrian community needs to be heard from more often here and so represented more frequently. I was happy to see one other blog today with a Mazdean theme. There needs to be a lot more of that here. If people wish to reject Islam in its various forms, that is fine. Zoroastrianism is the alternative which is much older and much more authentic to the Iranian soil and the Iranian spirit, nor is Zoroastrianism presently interested in converting the world or creating a Zoroastrian political World Order and One World Government, none of which at the end of the end of day has anything to do with Iran specifically.

Thank you Wahid for your valuable contributions
by nadeem khan on Sun Sep 12, 2010 10:51 PM PDTI agree your points. One of the reason is that Zoroastrianism are not that organised as the Baha'is. Do they have ZIA? We have BIA & CIA but we never heard of ZIA. I hope you are getting me. The agents of BIA are working overtime here under various Usernames.
