The Very First President of the Islamic Republic, Abdolhassan Banisadre is asked about the risks and conditions of seeing Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi the son of the Iran’s Last Monarch Mohamed Reza Shah Pahlavi regain power.
After a lengthy and in my humble opinion rather complicated metaphoric explanation the former President concludes that Iranians did not eat Baghali ( referring to a form of beans used in Rice) for the past 32 years only to end up with the prospect of replacing the current Spiritual Leader Ali Khamenei with Reza Pahlavi ( referring to him without his inherited Royal title of Shahzadeh) or MKO leader Massoud Rajavi ( to whom the former president’s daughter was once married before divorcing her in favor of Maryam Rajavi the current Pre Selected President of the MKO – the People’s Mujahedin Khalgh).
Banisadr on Chances of Seeing Reza Pahlavi Restored:
It seems However that Mr. Banisadr has moved forward in his colorful and metaphorically rich vocabulary for not so long ago he had actually used a far more vulgar verbal illustration by saying that “Asking Iranians to Restore the Pahlavis is like asking them to Swallow their Own Vomit” … Strangely Echoing what another Well Fed Fellow Compatriot seemed to express about the Pahlavis:
Ebrahim Golestan: "The Shah's Coronation Made Me Wanna Vomit" (BBC)
But that isn't new is it ?

Stop Interviewing This Lowlife
by HHH on Mon Jul 04, 2011 02:14 PM PDTHe's nothing but a mini-mullah who participated in all murders and atrocities during 1979 for power & profit, and when he realized mullahs want to take control he escaped the country to avoid execution.
No one is interested in what traitors likes of him or Ebrahim-Yazdi have to say.
Who asked him?
by amirparvizforsecularmonarchy on Thu Jun 30, 2011 02:09 AM PDTAren't we going to put him on trial if monarchy is restored.
Of course we are!!!!!!!
Banisader & other ISLAMISTs MUST not be Trusted by IRANIANS.
by Maryam Hojjat on Wed Jun 29, 2011 04:39 AM PDTThese Islamist thugs have been ruining IRAN & Do not care about IRAN & Iranians no matter how educated they are. The point is these bastards care about Arab culture and Islam more than anything else. In my opinion all the Islamists are dangerous to IRAN and Must not be trusted. I am hoping in future FREE IRAN we take care of these Islamists who have ruined IRAN & ripping off Iranians for 1400 yrs and Make an IRAN with purely Iranian culture, purged from Islamist/Arab garbages.
omeedvar, I had the same thought as yours
by Anahid Hojjati on Tue Jun 28, 2011 11:50 PM PDTI wanted to write that there was a reason that IRI did not kill Banisadr while they killed people like Bakhtiar, Ghasemloo and even Farrokzad. Banisadr just does not come across as being a threat to them. When Banidsr was president, we used to talk about how he had an ocean of Knowledge which had depth of an inch. In this video, he does not appear as someone that I would like to listen to his views.
He has no shame!
by omeedvar on Tue Jun 28, 2011 11:42 PM PDTBanisadr and his gang who helped create this monster regime, have no shame. The irony is that Dr. Bakhtiar was murdered while under the protection of French government, but this guy is still alive!
Disturbing
by darius on Tue Jun 28, 2011 06:56 PM PDTIt is really disturbing that Reza Pahlavi would accept to shake handwith bunch of the cowards and traitors.
The same people who kissed Khomeini's behind and then fled the
country with "Lebas Aroos" or took refuge in Iraq with no ba... to stay and fight with the monster they created themselves.
After 30 some years these traitors have no courage to apologize from the Iranians and shamelessly talks about freedom ,courage and return to Iran.
Those who helped khomeini and his thugs to power , should be prosecuted for what they did to Iranian.
IRI has no choice but to sober up , leave people alone or doomed to fall on its knees and Reza Pahlavi's chance is much greater without shaking these cowards hand.
Yuck!
by pas-e-pardeh on Tue Jun 28, 2011 06:40 PM PDTSwallowing their own vomit? What a tasteless comparison from the First President of IRI. And, he still talks about Islam and Satan and all that nonsense.
These people like Bani Sadr, who helped destroy Iran, should be humbler. He should start each sentence- for the rest of his life, by saying "I apologize". Why is he lecturing like a thinker and a patriot?
What is this ? A Soap ??

The entire thing sounds more like an ongoing dramatic episode of a Soap Opera ....... LOL
