An interview of the Late General Bahram Aryana in Paris shortly after the Tabarzin operation in the early 1980's. By then the General was in his early 80's and an old man but he hoped to continue the armed Struggle against the Islamic Republic in an attempt to restore the Monarchy.

Artesh-Boad (General) Bahram Aryana (1906 – 1985) was a top Iranian military commander in the Pahlavi II era of Iran.

He was Georgian by descent, educated at École Spéciale Militaire de Saint-Cyr, and was instrumental in many of the nationalist policies in the 1950-1960s. After the occupation of Iran by the Soviet Union and the United Kingdom in 1941 (World War II), he went on with armed struggle and resisted the occupation. He founded the Kabud Party in detention. He founded Azadegan, a nationalist opposition group while based in exile in Paris, France.

You're welcome DK.

I must confess, I get a kick out of some of your historical posts. But your retorting comments containing a series of irreverent, embedded youtube videos, I always skip over.

He was one of the students

He was one of the students my grandfather supervised in Paris, during the 1920s.

The man became something of a kook, standing out during a time when there were many.

Here's a good, brief bio:
