Egyptian security services' files shine light on murky world
Egypt's secret police were notorious for their methods of surveillance. When Egypt's state security buildings were stormed in March 2011, thousands of secret files gathered under Hosni Mubarak's rule were taken into custody by the military. A few are now turning up in some unusual places.
It was known as Egypt's Bastille Day, or "Stasi moment".
Protesters had heard rumours that the secret police files were being destroyed and they stormed the buildings to rescue them.
aynak you proved Jack
by Darius Kadivar on Thu Mar 01, 2012 03:25 PM PSTAgain If you have anything relevant to say in regard to this blog I welcome your comments. You wish to contradict Shustari or anyone else in regard to their comments fine.
But if it's to score points with me in order to get even with Shustari then Get out of here !
Thank you both
by aynak on Thu Mar 01, 2012 03:17 PM PSTfor proving a point. Kadivar for wanting my real name (when I just said I feel disturbed by Shushtari's remark and am glad I don't know him personally) and Shustari with the great line of reasoning: "Put a cap on it, that's how I feel".
it seems you don't understand
by shushtari on Thu Mar 01, 2012 02:43 PM PSTenglish- I said put a cap in it....
but since you want to keep ranting, here's my final response to you:
first of all, 'we' were never in power....I grew up in southern iran before the revolution- and sabeti is not my relative!
second, you have no clue about my feelings or desires, or whether 'I take pleasure' in what I described for yazdi! and even if I want 'revenge' that is perfectly OK- because I have seen my country destroyed at the hands of a bunch of illiterate murderers
the attitude that a monster like yazdi has a right to live to 80 while he murdered and tortured some of our bravest iranians is exactly what propagates more of these monsters and their philosophy
so save me that lecture on 'pacifism' and 'political correctness' there is a time and place for everything. bye bye
aynak Keep my name out of your personal disputes
by Darius Kadivar on Thu Mar 01, 2012 02:38 PM PSTUnless you want to set scores with me then do it with your full name and accountability.
take care little man.
seriously Shushtari
by aynak on Thu Mar 01, 2012 01:12 PM PSTAnyone imagining a slow/painful death for another person needs their head examined. I say that to you mostly as concern. Sure there are people we do not like (to put it mildly) in power and certainly, there are some in the category that their dead would be more useful or less harmful to society. But who can imagine actually putting even the person we dislike the most through this description:
" who deserves the most painful, slow death possible"
What normal human being would write this? The above actually indicates more than a revenage, even pleasure from the process. I don't know your true/real identity (and am in someways both glad and relieved, so by definition it can not be personal), but your statement is very disturbing. But don't know which is worse: that you made that statement, or even after I pointed it out you still don't get it. Kadivar also made similar statement a while back too, which shows a similar pattern/approach among you great folks to "problem solving". That you folks should come to Sabeti's defence or simply echo his sentiment, says how far you have not come from when you were in power.

by shushtari on Thu Mar 01, 2012 10:35 AM PSTfirst of all, if I would take advice- I would NOT take it from a bache akhoond like you
second, your pathetic attempt at personal attacks, in defense of a gutless traitor like yazdi no less, says a LOT about YOUR character- not mine!
YOU are the one needing help, for your wacky views- typical of a bache akhoond defending a ruthless regime- now, put a cap on it!
seek help shushtari
by aynak on Wed Feb 29, 2012 11:51 PM PSTShushtari: "that Yazdi is a yellow belllied rat- who deserves the most painful, slow death possible"
you sound pretty experienced? Are you related to Sabeti, or just worship him as a role model? what a great imagination?!
Yazdi's son-in-law looks much older than himself!?
by Oon Yaroo on Wed Feb 29, 2012 06:24 PM PSTOnly these sick people force their nine year old daughters marry a 50-year old man! The decedents of Muhammad!
that yazdi
by shushtari on Wed Feb 29, 2012 06:10 PM PSTis a yellow belllied rat- who deserves the most painful, slow death possible
he is a coward, opportunist spy who has the blood of some of the bravest and best patriots iran ever had.....
he will be burning on a skewer right next to his bosses, khomeini and carter for eternity
to imagine wonderful men like gen rahimi and hoveida be murdered by such lowlives is heartbreaking....
