In an article dated April 29, 2010 published by Times-CNN magazine, Iranian actress Shohreh Aghdashloo refers to Martin Luther King’s remark where he said "Let us realize the arc of the moral universe is long, but it bends toward justice" and continues “Like King, Mousavi, 68, and those in his Green Movement understand that the revolution's broken promises must now be fulfilled”. In her eulogy she compares the King’s testament of hope with the one that she claims has been brought to all generations of Iranians by Mir-Hossein Mousavi’s presidential race and his promise for change.

What a false analogy! How dare you weigh up these two completely distinct characters, one who fought to save his people and the other one who fights to save his ideology?  One who stuck to his people and the people followed him wherever he went, and other one who betrayed and left his people alone in the streets to let them be torn apart by the hyenas of IRI. At some point of time after the so-called presidency election Mousavi admitted himself that the people is not following him and in fact he is the one that follows them. So be careful Aghdashloo, when you say “…his Green Movement…”, it hasn’t been his for a long time.

You should be kidding yourself when talking about the change toward freedom and democracy under the leadership of Mousavi, have you failed to remember that in his statement (# 17), Mousavi while strongly expressing his loyalty to Islamic regime and its Guardian Council infrastructure, put the reinforcement on the fact that any possible reform would only be within the framework of the Islamic government? So how do you expect to be able to breathe freedom and democracy under the poisonous atmosphere of Islamic regime? Don’t you know that these two are like oil and water and can not mix!

The Bloodshed of our young generation in Iran has spread all over the country; they have been risking their lives not for the sake of gaining a brushed-up reform of IRI but to recapture their stolen human rights and democracy once their predecessor King Cyrus the Great has offered the world 2500 years ago.

To Aghdashloo, 3000 murdered Iranian young generation raise up from the grave and ask you: “have you already forgot our manslaughter committed by the IRI executioners led by Mousavi’s ministry?” You are talking about the truth and justice for all, even in the tomorrow’s fall of IRI if the people of Iran give Mousavi a chance to run a secular republican government, how do you expect from a theocratic-born killer to bring truth and justice to the people, not to mention a change toward democracy? Only cold-hearted people like you do. The fact of the matter is that after the fall of IRI, Mousavi and all alike have to be brought to justice, only then the truth stands, justice is served and freedom can be inhaled again.
