Iran beats Indonesia 4-1 to advance to the next round of qualifiers for Brazil 2014.
In a day that Asian powers Japan and S. Korea lost to their opponents, Iran played a relatively easy game and beat Indonesia 4-1. Iran's victory and the 0-0 tie between Qatar and Bahrain ensured Iran's progress to the next round.
Iran's next game will be on February 29th in Tehran against Qatar which is almost guaranteed a spot in the next round because of its superior goal difference compared to Bahrain.
Also, in the other good news of the day, despite Iran's 4 goals and the ensuing celebrations, no Iranian players fingered the goal scorers, so every one should be available for the next match!

by Red Wine on Wed Nov 16, 2011 12:55 AM PSTدیروز ایران به مراتب بهتر از بازی با بحرین،بازی کرد.

Re take it...
by Arj on Tue Nov 15, 2011 11:21 PM PSTDear MA, all the games were played at the same time, yet the AFC's standings showed Qatar leading group E by 9 points as opposed to Iran's 8 for several hours. It's finally been updated now, but it's not the first time they do that! AFC is pushed around by Arabs and their petro-dollars, especially when it comes to Iran!

Take it easy Arj...
by Mohammad Ala on Tue Nov 15, 2011 09:41 PM PSTAFC has not updated its site. It shows Iran has played 4 games.
FIFA has more money and resources and updates its data more quickly.
Moreover, AFC only shows 2011 schedule. Iran and all other teams have one more game which will be played in 2012 (February).
AFC's bias!
by Arj on Tue Nov 15, 2011 11:13 PM PSTThe bastards at AFC have Iran in second place (8 points) after Qatar (9 points) in the group E satnding table! The result of Iran-Indonasia game is missing from their records while every other match (which were played simultaneously) is counted for in all tables!
