A beautiful and touching short clip about the father and son relationship. It is as beautiful in Greek as it would have been in Farsi.

Nicely done!
by Princess on Thu Feb 26, 2009 04:08 PM PSTThis is a very old story. I remember my dad told me this story probably 20 years ago and a few times since. It is sweet, but it also demonstrates some facts about life. The parents' relationship, responsibility and love towards their offspring is not and should not be identical to those of the offspring to their parents.
It's nice to see this story put into film, and it's even nicer to see that such wisdom is shared across borders from "Persia" to Greece. I had always thought this was an Iranian story.
Very great
by Souri on Thu Feb 26, 2009 03:13 PM PSTI'd got this in an email some while ago. I was moved so much that I showed it to my children! They found it very touching indeed (usually they are not so sentimental !!)
Thanks for sharing.
