Nobody ever leaves Iranian.com.
We all seem to have left, but we haven't.
Some of us even wrote good-bye blogs, but we're still here.
Some of us may have been blocked under one name, but we have new names and we come around with those new names, acting exactly as we did with the original names.
Some of us got tired of the "political me," and came back as a poet.
Some of us got tired of the "poet me," and came back as a politician.
Some of us found writing too hard and thankless and disappeared, only to come back as commentators.
Some of us were too afraid of all the liberals and democrats running around the site and have only decided to come back with the nice group of conservative Republicans who were also here before, pretending to be poets.
Some of us were closet monarchists before, when it was unfashionable on this site to be a monarchist, and are out in full force now that it seems OK to be a Shahollahi.
Some of us were out, seeking other, more expensive types of therapy for a while, but lost our insurance coverage with that last layoff, and here we are, commenting on Iranian.com again.
But have no doubts. We are all still here, for no one ever leaves Iranian.com.
-------------------
Just so it's clear: I don't know who's who. I don't know who came back as whom. I'm not outing anyone. I'm just saying no one ever leaves Iranian.com. Of this I am sure.

by Onlyiran on Tue Jan 10, 2012 10:59 AM PSTYou signed up under a whole new username just to write a blog about Fred! Hope the trip is going well. Looking forward to seeing the photos when you return. Can you bring me some "Albaloo" when you return (wink, wink)?

by areyo barzan on Tue Jan 10, 2012 04:52 AM PSTI agree with you on that point
"all of us are right, 100% of the time",
unfortunatly that is our main problem as a nation and the main obstacle to democracy

Best blog of 2011
by Tiger Lily on Mon Jan 09, 2012 11:10 AM PSTwas this one of yours:
//iranian.com/main/blog/golaab/new-irania...
sharp, sharp, and I couldn't stop laughing and not just because I (and others) could have fitted myself into the schedule several times.
Thank you for that one!
and we come around with those new names...
by Majid Zahrai on Mon Jan 09, 2012 09:40 AM PST"...and we come around with those new names, acting exactly as we did with the original names..."
How true!
I, too, miss Marge Simpson! Now there was a brilliant mind. She could never come back as another, because we would recognize her sense of humor and her brilliant mind immediately. Nobody like that has been around for a while.
Good, old me will only leave
by Rea on Mon Jan 09, 2012 08:19 AM PST..... if they kick me out. Hardly contributing anything but spreading the word around.
@Faramarz, people stay "to fight over the same issue another day", you nailed it, so universally true.
PS. In addition to those already mentioned, Benrose is missed. Hope, in the meantime, he managed to cross that street safe and sound.
Good to see they have stayed
by Souri on Mon Jan 09, 2012 09:43 AM PSTOn the positive note : there will be new chalenges.
On the negative side: The one who had a beef with you in the past, come back as a new reader and get your pacheh....you don't understand why?
but all in all, I like this site, that's why I come here every day :)
Ali jon: I, too am worried about Mrs Rusta as she was sick at the end.
Also I miss Jamshid and also Q, very much.
Yade ou moughe ha be kheir: Majid, amarican wife, kaveh nouray,.....Rosie, and also Zion :)
And That's Something
by G. Rahmanian on Mon Jan 09, 2012 07:43 AM PSTI don't like about most American cities, you can't walk in them.

Nobody Walks in LA!
by Faramarz on Mon Jan 09, 2012 07:34 AM PSTOnly Usernames and Avatars leave Iranian.com!
And the reason for people not leaving is that leaving means accepting defeat and agreeing to someone else's point of view. And since all of us are right, 100% of the time, then we never leave, but rather, we stay to fight over the same issue another day.
And then we die and someone else will carry our torch!
"I don't know could have been a lame jogger maybe
or someone just about to do the freeway strangler baby
Shopping cart pusher or maybe someone groovy
One things for sure he isn't starrin' in a movie coz he's
Walking in LA...Walking in LA...Nobody walks in LA"
Mey Bekhor, did you mean to say : " We're all prisoners here

I had to find the passage back
To the place I was before
"Relax", said the night man,
