by American Wife on Fri Nov 07, 2008 02:05 PM PSTBijan has a point. Are we not above the petty insults thrown right and left? Isn't that exactly what we're hoping this new administration is all about... change? There is nothing you can say to convince the nay-sayers... so aren't we just wasting OUR valuable positive energy reacting to them??? Disappointment leads to frustration... frustration leads to anger... anger leads to violence. The most effective response to their negativity is NO response. If they want to wish failure on Obama just to prove a point, it's hopeless to try to reason with them.
In other words... let's go find someone else to pick on!!!!
ughhhh
by IRANdokht on Fri Nov 07, 2008 11:04 AM PSTthe hypocrisy of it all....
AmirKabear4u is right! I am done arguing and going in circles. They don't make sense, they throw insults and accusations at you and even when proven wrong, they come back under another anonymous ID and ask you to let them be.
They'd rather take side with welfare Joe and Grandma Palin than to admit that a black man can be intelligent, educated, charismatic and fully qualified to be the president just because of his name or his race, even after the country has voted him President!!
What's the point in presenting facts when you're faced with sheer prejudice?
More power to you Marge. I don't know how you do it, but I admire your energy, enthusiasm and persistance. Keep up the awesome job!

remember that bloggers such as MRX1 do not like Obama just because his middle name is Hussain. Funny isn't it? And they all brag about democracy too.
LOL..

FYI Joe the Plumber grew up on welfare.... WELFARE
by I Have a Crush on Alex Trebek on Thu Nov 06, 2008 11:02 PM PSTThe hypocrisy and fakery of Republicans this year, from Sarah the Stupid to Joe the Welfare King, is staggering.
Come on
by kouroshS (not verified) on Thu Nov 06, 2008 10:02 PM PSTHey,
Khar
Did it occur to you that he could be a hard working student and is not stealing or spending your tax money that you pay off your hard-earned money? and maybe that is why he posts during the day? please don't tell me that him getting financial aid to fund his studies is also considered spending your tax money. Cuz if you do that would defeat the whole purpose of celebrating obama's victory.
The time has come for everyone, specially those ardent supporters of Obama and those who feel so victorious and think that they have woken up to a new world , stop using such language.
X1? manicas?
by IRANdokht on Thu Nov 06, 2008 09:36 PM PSTit's good to hear that you're not jellous. the checks are comming?? I thought you had a problem with Obama now I realize it might be educated people in general.... You don't own a business, but apparently speaking and spelling English words is not a requirement in your field.
You think the high percentage of people who voted for Obama are all waiting for welfare checks? that's either a gross assumption, a gross generalization or gross stupidity. I am having a hard time figuring out which.
For your information, I know welfare people who voted for Palin because they thought she represented them, not too educated, having 5 kids and a pregnant teenager and all....

by Khar on Thu Nov 06, 2008 09:07 PM PSTI guess based on your uneducated analogy Warren Buffet, Colin Powell are also looking for their welfare checks? You said you're not self employed so what are doing posting in the middle of the day(Earlier Posts)? You must be on welfare and spending our tax money!
relax obama manicas
by MRX1 (not verified) on Thu Nov 06, 2008 08:51 PM PSTthe messiah is here and your welfare checks are in the mail.it's comming be patient.
why would I be jellous? I am having fun! next four years it will be a blast.(I mean it) we will see community activist fail on one issue after another. Not even two days gone by and some workers on his campaign are upset because they have not got paid...
I am fair guy though. let's hope that I am wrong about BO!
P.S hate to dissapoint you guys I am not self employed or own any buisness's of my own but if I was rest assure I wouldn't be hiring a community activist.
I read that when Sarah Left America - this side of America
by I Have a Crush on Alex Trebek on Thu Nov 06, 2008 07:28 PM PST"She left with an entourage of 18 family members and friends and a Secret Service detail, heading to the airport in a motorcade stretching more than a dozen vehicles, flanked by a dozen more cops on motorcycles.” McCain drove himself. Sounds to me like Sarah LOVES attention and spotlight. Politics is not the place to be Sarah. I think that's her problem. Politics = lots of criticism, even if you're Obama. Difference is, Obama can handle it. She's just angry with the media. She's just against the "main streeeem filter" bla bla bla. Cry me a river. It's not the media, you're just too much of an idiot to get it right. 4 years is enough time to go to back to college and learn a coupla things about politics and even Africa, if she HAS to. Cuz you know at the next Republican debate they're going to ask her to recite some history about APARTHIGHS.
Here's Sarah's homework:
IranDokht is amazing. That was beautiful. Makes me wonder.
by I Have a Crush on Alex Trebek on Thu Nov 06, 2008 07:22 PM PST"due to their own shortcomings and arrogance"
Ya know, if this Barack guy wasn't black and his name was Johnny B. Gude, people wouldn't have the hairy balls to talk about him this way. Just my communist tofu influenced opinion.

by Khar on Thu Nov 06, 2008 07:15 PM PSTWe Democrats and in my case a Liberal Democrat, are long on compassion and big on understanding! But what we are against are Ignorance and Stupidity! No matter where its coming from Bush's white-House or Donut shop around the corner.
IRANdokht, Keep on Keeping on the great work! These jokers have nothing good to say about anything their light-bulb has burned out long time ago.
Hi Again Khar!!
by I Have a Crush on Alex Trebek on Thu Nov 06, 2008 07:13 PM PSTMy fellow prisoner,
I feel the same way. I have to admit though, some of the comments on right wing blogs are scary. Some people are saying very screwball things and I wonder if they ever got the memo that segregation ended in this country decades ago.
You should definitely try to attend the inauguration if you'll be on the east coast. Contact your congress person. Now you can even do it by the web. and since the democrats want to keep their dictatorship that they won on Tuesday, they'll be handing tickets out like a cheap hooker. It will be the icing on the cake! I heard Obama is going to hand out his first wave of welfare checks to anyone who shows up and stands in the cold!! maybe we can arrange an iranian apologist tent.
Dear Marge,
by Khar on Thu Nov 06, 2008 06:58 PM PSTThis “prisoner” feels free and as if the heavy load has been lifted from my shoulders since last Tuesday night and hopefully looking in to the future!
Personal message for MRX
by I Have a Crush on Alex Trebek on Thu Nov 06, 2008 06:21 PM PSTIf the bar is low for presidential candidates, it's not because of Obama or Palin. It's because of that ass-hat that you guys nominated and elected twice.
MRX is definitely jealous. All of them are.
by I Have a Crush on Alex Trebek on Thu Nov 06, 2008 06:14 PM PSTThey are already trying to tear down Obama. Let them do it. They have nothing else to work for. Republican party stinks. Reagan is dead. Newt Gingrich blew it. Tom Delay nuked your party out of the water. Oh and that little thing called the Bush presidency... it also defecated on the Republicans. You're all finished. We're going to contribute and support our president now, and you can laugh and be jealous, but that's why we won and you lost :) so keep up the hate!!!!! it's doing a WORLD of help ;)
O.K. Gang....
by Bijan A M on Thu Nov 06, 2008 05:27 PM PSTThe campaign is over. Democracy prevailed and we have a new president. Whether he is qualified or not is irrelevant. He is now the commander in chief and everyone who believes in democracy will respect him (in agreement or disagreement).
It is extremely childish to continue campaigning and trashing your opponent for a laugh or humiliation.
Humility is a great attribute. Leave some room for the unexpected…
The president is faced with living up to a lot of the promises he made to the world and defending the constitution of this land.
Let’s be patient, vigilant and pragmatic enough to prevent him from derailing and help him staying the course of democracy

by American Wife on Thu Nov 06, 2008 04:15 PM PSTCouldnt have said it better my friend.
You've heard of penis-envy? Well, I suspect our little friend MRX of feeling...hmm, just a little anxiety. It's typical, you know, for insecurity to manifest itself in aggression.
As to Obama not ever having a real job???? What up with that? He was an attorney for the Chicago law firm of Miner, Barnhill & Galland, which specialized in civil rights legislation. He also lectured at the University of Chicago. What exactly do you consider a "real" job... modeling for Saks 5th Avenue?
And did I hear someone say something like "President of Harvard Law club" don't mean shinola? No, I must have imagined it. Because it's quite obvious that someone who would say something like that is thinking about HIS own club... the MICKEY MOUSE CLUB. No, I'm quite certain that the Harvard Law REVIEW would take exception to that comment considering the Harvard Law Review is the most cited and prestigious law review in the Nation.
Oh silly me... I thought we were having an intelligent discussion with someone....lol.
MRX1
by IRANdokht on Thu Nov 06, 2008 03:30 PM PSTI am curious...
what do you think a real job is?
I think you mentioned somewhere that you own a donut shop or work in one (or was it a dry cleaning service), does it mean that other jobs that require higher education and more intelligence should not count just because you would not be able to get one and have no idea what they consist of and what qualifications they require?
is that why you keep calling the President elect of this country BO? oh I get it, it must have been a dry cleaning service, people tend to use the words they are accustomed to and are exposed to frequently...
I have nothing against hard working people and small business owners, but when someone starts belittling people who are way superior to them in many ways just due to their own shortcomings and arrogance, then I stop being sympathetic.
IRANdokht
Irandokht you make me laugh!
by MRX1 (not verified) on Thu Nov 06, 2008 02:46 PM PSTI though you liberals are about compassion, underestanding, inclusion, and all that mumbo jumbo that you preach. Does not matter to me if any body takes me seriously or not.
It's funny though, BO or B.O has won and you people are still misreable! (change we can believe in!) man the next four years it's going to be FUNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN....
by the way president of harward law club don't mean shit! Now if BO could actualy get a real job and perform it well now that would be impressive!
can you say "sour grapes"
by American Wife on Thu Nov 06, 2008 12:49 PM PSTNah... this is typical backtracking. Anyone who thought they wouldn't throw her under the bus is naive. McCain is still going to be visible as a Senator. She's going to go back to Alaska and lay low for awhile. The GOP will then bring her back out after the dust has settled. The conservative far-right love her to death. The good news is that their numbers are dwindling. Obama still did not get the white male votes. Actually McCain didn't either. They went straight for Palin. While all the jokes are funny, don't think that she's gone for good. And what is real scary is that she's going to have plenty of time to get ready for the next time. It's for dang sure (gotta be careful, big brother is watching) that Obama is going to have a REAL TOUGH first term. Repuklicans are going to pounce on him the second he falters and of course he's going to! Who better than the pitbull to come out in four years "to save the Nation". And the first thing you're going to hear from her is the distance she puts between herself and McCain... just as he did with Bush.
No... it's funny right now but I think I'm going to keep my eye on her. She scares the crap (almost did it again) out of me.
Setareh... go easy there!

by IRANdokht on Thu Nov 06, 2008 12:44 PM PSTHow can you expect people to take you seriously when you can't tell the difference between the president of Harvard Law review and a beauty pageant contestant with a history of college hopping?

same caliber
by MRX1 (not verified) on Thu Nov 06, 2008 12:22 PM PSTpalin is the same caliber as BO. Except that she is not full of hot air and bull shit like BO is. sadly and unlike BO she actually has a job! (Unless of course you consider community activist and mooching out of tax payers a job!)
Her only mistake was: she is not a lesbian, democrat and pro choice that's all! to make it worse, she didn't whine about fictional discrimination against women in U.S on a hourly basis. Misery loves company folks, don't you forget that!
the same people that make fun of her would have been embracing her with open arms if she had one of the attributes mention above.
what's next for Sarah!
by IRANdokht on Thu Nov 06, 2008 11:19 AM PST//cosmos.bcst.yahoo.com/up/player/popup/?cl=1...
Watch her leave for Alaska like a rock star while McCain drives himself out of town!
She's asked about her future in DC and she's going to get a visit from some accountants about the $$$ she spent!

GOP is a joke!
by IRANdokht on Thu Nov 06, 2008 09:23 AM PSTIs Fox jumping ship now? I don't care anyway, but it's pathetic to say they all knew how unqualified she is and still have hours of Obama bashing shows every day while hiding the truth about Palin!
I am not surprised at how stupid she is, I am just glad that they're finally fessing up to it too!
DESI!!!!!
Your video clip was just PRESCIOUS! Merci! Delam khonak shod! :0) thanks so much and please do share more of your video treasures.

Hey Iranian Reader - Sarah Ditched Fox After Prank Call
by I Have a Crush on Alex Trebek on Thu Nov 06, 2008 09:18 AM PSTNo no. This is after that. Fox was very kind to Palin. Except a few days before the election (Last Friday or Sunday I think), palin backed out on an interview on FOX!! FOX!!!! They were gushing for her and she cancelled them. Maybe that's why Cameron is spilling the beans on what an airhead she is. Even bill O'reilly was pissed he couldn't interview her alone. She was a huge liability. Here's more bitching by fox about palin.
Was this the Fox reference in the Sarkozy prank?
by Iranian Reader (not verified) on Thu Nov 06, 2008 09:05 AM PSTI was wondering what the guy was refering to when he said even Fox has not been kind to you? Or was there other negative Fox coverage?
Thanks for posting this!
Chants of 2012 = Palin/Palin 2012!!!? United States of Sexy!
by I Have a Crush on Alex Trebek on Thu Nov 06, 2008 07:52 AM PSTWhen Sarah Joon arrived in Alaska people chanted 2012. Ted Stevens had a crowd to greet him when he got home after being convicted of 600 counts of felony.
Alaska is awesome! I think Alaska and the Islamic Republic of Eyeran have a lot of in common - oil wealth, crazy constituents, folksy people who will support their bad doers against the bigger powers in America.
If Sarah DOES run in 2012, she should pick her husband to be the vice president because REpublicans proved after Sarah that VP doesn't matter. They just gotta be hot and happy and dumb. Todd palin is perfect and he will cater to the horny female voters.
The United States of SEXY!!!!!!
