Can someone, please, update me on comments/moderation?

After I posted a comment, I logged out of my account.
Then my comment disappeared from the blog I had commented on.
Are our comments being moderated? Are we still allowed to flag comments? Should we bother if they have made it past moderation?
I've noticed a ton of people are missing. Is there some new policy? Thanks for the update to anyone who has it.

When you're logged in you see the most current and live i.com. When you're not logged in you're several minutes behind. Like a TV delay on live broadcasts to bleep the non-FCC regular content.
Although in the case of i.com I believe they are trying to reduce the weigh of giving live i.com to both registered and non-registered users. So in theory this increases the speed for i.com and I think whatever it is it is actually working and i.com is not slow like the before.
So when you're logged in and comment and then you log out you may not see your comment but if you log back in you'll see it. As for moderation and blocking and all that I think it is much better and some people no matter want come here to be an ass so they get blocked. Hope this helps.
