What is IranNegah.com?
IranNegah.com is a brand new website that serves as an online video library relating to Iranian Politics and Society, containing a wide range of topics and exclusive footage, historical and current, yet mostly political. Video clips include footage anywhere from the revolution in 1979, the Iran-Iraq War, the latest 2005 presidential elections, and everything in between. Our video archive is the largest and most organized collection of video clips relating to Iranian politics on the internet. The collection is a unique and valuable resource available free to view for everyone.
It should be noted that the videos presented on our site do not represent the views of IranNegah.com, but are presented rather for research and educational purposes only.
Why did you start it?
There are millions of Iranians living outside of Iran, many who were born and raised in Iran and now live elsewhere, and many others who were born outside of Iran and have no real connection to Iran. Yet, what binds these people is their interest, whether continued or renewed, in their identity as an Iranian. Interest in Iranian politics is a natural extension of this phenomenon. Unfortunately, being outside of Iran simply makes it difficult to follow everything that goes on inside of the country. Finding a solution to this problem is how IranNegah.com was born.
That being said and given the fact that we currently live in a so called YouTube world, we wanted to create a site SHOWING you Iran, rather than have you read about it through the hundreds of other Iranian websites out there that only provide either commentary or links to news articles. After all, video educates, informs, and engages us in a manner, which news articles or even photos simply can not.
We hope our site serves your interests and ask that you support us in our endeavors by helping spread the word about IranNegah.com!

Whatever happened to the IRI?
by Anonymous7.5 (not verified) on Fri Jan 04, 2008 06:37 PM PSTIRI used to be way more clever than this when creating its fronts in the western countries. Have all their propoganda men defected or something? I agree with the other guy who said the IRI has lost its touch.
.
Are the likes of dariushabadi and XerXer the best IRI can do nowadays?
.
Folks, this may actually be a good thing!

Everyone is an IRI agent!
by Darius (not verified) on Fri Jan 04, 2008 01:46 PM PSTEveryone is an IRI agent! Anti-Iran is an IRI agent! Don't fall for his front! He spits out anti-IRI stuff so he can report you to the IRI authorities. He is an instigator! Don't fall for it! Even my cat is an IRI agent. I saw him licking the computer screen when IranNegah.com was open.

by benam sedaghat (not verified) on Fri Jan 04, 2008 11:39 AM PSTI just saw the site they have pretty intersting stuff about Iran I mean thats a lots of videos and site looks really profesinol, come lets give iranngeah the props that they deserve and stop hating the site , by the wat i love the videos about Imam Rezaz shrine bombing , brought back so much memories
My opinion
by Maryam Shirazi (not verified) on Fri Jan 04, 2008 09:19 AM PSTI personally saw the site and don't think its pro anything. It just seems that they are putting up everything from Iran. The site calls itself an archive and thats what it is. I mean they have videos of homeless guys, to youth talking about partying, to videos of ahmadinejad and khomeini, so its pretty hard to put the site in any one category. Either way I thought the site was interesting and saw a lot of videos there I had never seen. I thought the videos of Rafsanjani were pretty funny at the round table with a bunch of gherti kids.
re: Anonymous700
by dariushabadi on Fri Jan 04, 2008 04:46 AM PSTBy your logic, anyone defending IranNegah is pro-IRI, and therefore by your stupid logic, only pro-IRI people are defending IranNegah.
My question is, isn't it rather more obvious that the people bashing the site are the ones who were exiled for their crimes against Iran? I don't see anyone from within Iran bashing IranNegah anywhere. I wouldn't use Iranian.com as a gauge anyway, because its banned in Iran anyway. :-D
And it should be, most of the time its filled solely with porn, filth, garbage and JJ's travel pictures. Not worth brain cells of bright minds in Iran.
But who am I to judge? I spend a lot of time here, wasting my poor brain cells.
Personally, it would be nice if IranNegah got banned from Iran too.
IranNegah are you listening?
by Anonymous700 (not verified) on Fri Jan 04, 2008 03:20 AM PSTQuestion from IranNegah: Any wonder why all (and only) the pro-IRI individuals in Iranian.com are jumping in to defend your site?
.
For me that alone was the nail in your coffin.

by kurdish warrior (not verified) on Fri Jan 04, 2008 01:03 AM PSTThe question isn't about this site being IRI site or
Anti-IRI. It's about what it could achieve? The answer is, absolutely nothing. This is just another passive act which wouldn't benefit the people of Iran in their struggle for freedom.

wow
by dariushabadi on Thu Jan 03, 2008 10:01 PM PSTits one thing to bash a web site, but to have the guts to claim that not a single shot fired by the Shah's army killed anyone is not only ignorant, insensative and ridiculous, but it makes you equivelant to a holocaust denier and a history revisionist.
you need to join Ahmadinejad and his gang of historical revisionism, because you both like to pretend something didn't happen to make yourselves feel better (except Ahmadinejad had no ties to what happened in Germany, but you have the blood of the Iranian people probably on your hand, thats why you pretend your shots didn't kill anyone).
Whatever makes you sleep easier at night.
Comic relief
by Anonymous0 (not verified) on Thu Jan 03, 2008 09:51 PM PSTPeople, please don't get exited! Although after viewing a number of videos, I have to agree that this site is definitely a hezbolahi site, but I think there is a wealth of comic relief among its videos!
.
Some of khomeini's clips are good comedy material. Also there are those videos in which it is tried so hard to depict the mullahs as so modern and loving! What about the one in which it tries to shove Rafsanjani down your throat as a knowledgeable psychologist and so he must command respect?!!! So funny!
.
There is another one titled: "shah's police killing people". Before watching it, I thought I have finally gotten myself some proof to present to die hard monarchists to shut them up. Then I watched the video and it was just some soldiers shooting in the air and people running away! Shocks!
.
There was another one: "Bakhtiar's army killing people". So funny! Bakhtiar's army?!!! How much more funny can this get?!! Again some soldiers shooting in the air and people running around! Not one drop of blood! Shocks again!
.
dorood bar IRAN
by dariushabadi on Thu Jan 03, 2008 09:51 PM PSTall of you who create conspiracies against web sites are all working for the CIA and MOSAD.
Just as you condemn people who say "the media is controlled by the jews", you need to first condemn yourselves for thinking "anything against us must be funded by IRI". you are all full of yourselves. You think the world only should think the way you do, if it strays, it must be because the IRI is funding it. haha
Honestly, from my experience with IRI....if it was run by IRI....the english on the site would be horrible. Just visit any web site made by IRI. its pathetic and needs to be changed.
Anti-Iran is an agent of the devil
by Darius (not verified) on Thu Jan 03, 2008 08:52 PM PSTWarning to all: Anti-Iran is a cleverly disguised agent of Satan. He lives his pathetic life behind a computer blogging against the mullah regime and yearning for the country he can never step foot in because of his treacherous heart.
Iranian.com is a cleverly disguised CIA/Savak/Mossad site
by Iranian patriot (not verified) on Thu Jan 03, 2008 08:29 PM PSTLarge numbers of Zionist microbes and their anti-Muslim Shahollahi servants have infiltrated this website in an attempt to relive the collaboration between Mossad and Savak from the era of the Aryamehr. The Shahollahi animals need to concentrate on collecting their welfare checks and forget about Iran; they will never get Iran back again for Reza Shah-e Kabir of Virginia
Everyone knows Backward Dariush Abadi
by Anti-IRI (not verified) on Thu Jan 03, 2008 08:20 PM PSTYou are a CANCER for this site, dariushabadi! We know you from all your pro-IRI comments. You have no credibility among us. Get lost!
by the way
by dariushabadi on Thu Jan 03, 2008 08:17 PM PSTI've seen some sites linked here on iranian.com which are Iranian porn sites, which have CIA advertising (to join the CIA, etc.) all over them.
Now those are blatant CIA sponsored sites, which are trying to promote filthy nudity and disgrace of our women to undermine our culture (wither or not our culture includes religion or not).
This is the CIA that many IRanians in the diaspora support and hope covertly it will overthrow our government. LATimes says that Iranians are signing up to help the CIA every day in gathering information. How sad that we have these VATANFOROOSHES.
hahahaha
by dariushabadi on Thu Jan 03, 2008 08:14 PM PSTI love how any video from inside Iran is a front for the IRI. I actually think this is not an IRI site, because it shows videos out of context of a few people dancing for money on the streets. I mean, we have that kind of crap here in the US, its a product of capitalism and urbanization. a sad reality.
lets wake up and stop making up conspiracy theories. its like seeing a video of shah on a site and thinking its a "front for the monarchy". who cares, i watch Shahee videos all the time.
Closed Mindedness is a cancer.
IRI is loosing it...
by Anonymous1234 (not verified) on Thu Jan 03, 2008 08:02 PM PSTAll we need is another Hezbolahi site targeting Iranians living outside of Iran and preaching for the IRI. Go get a life.
It's fun to see the IRI supporters angry like hell! :-)
by Anti-IRI (not verified) on Thu Jan 03, 2008 07:51 PM PSTCalm down, Darius! Any intelligent person who looks at the boy reciting some sermon in Arabic understand that this site is a desperate creation by the IRI Mozdoors such as yourself! Nice try, though!

by Darius (not verified) on Thu Jan 03, 2008 07:43 PM PSTGreat, another pathetic Iranian spitting out conspiracy theories. Get off your ass and do something productive for your country. I like how you throw out rhetoric without any support to back up your claims. You warning is uncleverly obvious bullshit. Let me guess, I bet you think the Iranian government is controlled by Britain and America. Maybe you work for the Islamic fanatical mullah regime in Iran yourself and want to spark some controversy. Take your looted stash you stole from the Iranian people during the Shah's time and shove it up your conspiracy theory.
Yes, IranNegah is obviously a filthy IRI site
by Anti-IRI (not verified) on Thu Jan 03, 2008 07:43 PM PSTThe poor kid is forced to give a sermon in a language he does not understand!
