Spider's Web

Here's a poem I wrote for my English class, it's terrible but whatever, people need to get their writing out there. :)

Spider's Web

So intricately woven

It delicately stands,

Surpassing all the seasons,

It's a beauty of the lands;

And some lovely spider searching for a place to make it's web

Finds this spot of shade, among the flow and ebb.

This sight we awe and marvel at,

It sparkles and it gleams;

For the spider that we know and love

Chose his abode to be a stream.

It withstands the wind that blows

With it's strands so small and fine,

And twinkles on the Milky Way,

Continuous as stars that shine.

those poetic iranian genes are waking up! Watch it Rudaki, Ferdowsi, Hafez, Sadi, ...: here comes the competition...

The only other poem that I know on spider is the one from Nima Yushij called spider color. I cannot find it though, otherwise I would post it for you.
