Hello all you fellow Iranian-American writers!!

I hope this email finds all of you safe, healthy and happy. I know that we all know people who could benefit hugely from this -- Brown University's International Writers Project Fellowship, which is meant for writers who are denied free expression in their homelands. The DEADLINE: FEBRUARY 15.

I would love to see an Iranian win it this year, and with your help, we can make that happen. They are taking nominations and applications. Details: //www.brown.edu/Departments/Literary_Arts/IWP....

I'm asking that you nominate any worthy candidates of whom you know and that you pass this information along to anyone you know in Iran whose freedom of expression as a writer is being stifled by the regime. It's a huge opportunity, and we have so many ham-vatans who need and deserve something like this. They pay relocation to the US and living expenses and $45,000.

Thanks for your help, and I pray for the day that we can hold an American Iranian Writers Association (www.iranianamericanwriters.org) conference in a free Iran.

Peace,
Melody
