by Souri on Fri Mar 26, 2010 07:24 AM PDTYou are absolutely right. As I said below, let them be.
They are too transparent to the readership now. I voluntarily skip them. Not worth it! Let them jump ups and down in every other blogs and calling people names. Don't you have flies bothering you sometimes?
Cheers,
Thank you Mina jon
by Souri on Fri Mar 26, 2010 07:18 AM PDTI hope the thread won't get an ugly face. This is awful as you said.
I will avoid coming back here (as much as I can afford :)) as it is really a pity to stir up this Nowruzi climate of your wonderful blog.
Thanks again for providing us this opportunity to express our appreciation to our favorite contributors.
BTW: I wanted to nominate Organic Nutritionist as my favorite "health counselor" !
Souri jan, here is an example of why you are cool
by Anahid Hojjati on Fri Mar 26, 2010 07:08 AM PDTWhen on this blog, captain noted excerpts of your comments where you called him pathetic, I had a thought that maybe that was not nice but then I went to captain's own blog and that is his comment to me:
"After I re visited your comment on this thread, I paid a regretful visit to ALL of your submissions in past few months.
I have an advice for you.............. Before you attempt to guide people on what to say i.e.

Captain, don't forget all the atrocities committed by IRI. I have in
fact more faith in Obama than IRI leaders.]
====================
I suggest you take a look at your contributions to the cause before you render judgment on the others.
Hopefully Ms. Hojjati we are ever so clear on our double talking's.
Respectfully "
So Souri jan, this behavior by captain is indeed pathetic and you call it what it is. Today, captain has a half ass apology where he calims that the reason he gets emotional is because of issue of sanctions but that is BS. He gets not emotional but abusive towards other members and belittles them, and you call him on it. That is why, Souri jan, you are cool.
Good Morning Souri Jan
by minadadvar on Fri Mar 26, 2010 06:52 AM PDTIt sounds awful. I never liked the idea of multiple ID's. My philosophy is "If you can not say it, using your real name, then you should not say it at all". But, I know, you are a very strong lady. Unfortunately, I have to leave now. Another busy day. I hope to be able to check in later this evening.
Have a great day, Azzizam.
Dalak is me Mina jon!
by Souri on Fri Mar 26, 2010 06:45 AM PDTYou should know this by now. I am honored with all kind of names like " Dalak, Pathetic, toudehy (as if it is an insult) left over, Fati komando, khalez zanak, darougheh, ghamar khanom.......etc, etc" by this bunch of bikar be estelaah mard!
I knew it already that if Capt- don't bring himself with his other alias (Peter Pan) then it would be Tellitlikeitis's (Khar) charge to finish the job ;-)
When I was a child, once I got a worm (zegil) on my finger. I got scared and asked my father what to do with it? He said don't worry, it will die by itself! It did!!!
So, I learned my lesson from that day. I let them be. Those guys who can't confront their own wives in the real life, come here under anonymous characters and get their revenge from the other women with strong character!
Kinda therapy :) You know how it is, you are a therapist :)
I don't care about them, I live with this. As long as their daily tokhmeh portion is provided by their own women and I don't pay for that (It will ruin me financially :))
These people come here and call us every name because we have chosen our favorite members of the site!!!
Tolerance?!! You, tell me.
Nothing prevent them from posting their own list of their favorite people here. Everybody can do it. But this is not what they want. What they want is to use this occasion again for calling names and belittling other people.
Say what?
Talking of the Zegil again?
TLK, Hovakshatare
by minadadvar on Fri Mar 26, 2010 06:35 AM PDTDear TLK, I appreciate your clarification. But, I wish you had made your point, in a more friendly way. Remember, it is Norooz, and this blog is really, not that serious.
Hovakshatare Azziz, you are more than welcome. I believe, a number of people named you, as their "Favorite". Happy Norooz.

by minadadvar on Thu Mar 25, 2010 08:32 PM PDTI am not as cool as you, as patient as Niloufar, as nice as Yolanda. I am trying to be on my "best behavior". After all, it is Norooz, and I am the Host.
Thank you dear Mina

And now: a cool one, a nice one, a patient one too ;-)
Souri and Niloufar
by minadadvar on Thu Mar 25, 2010 07:24 PM PDTSouri Jan, Thanks for stopping by. Cool/Clever/Classy, as usual.
Niloufar Azzizam, you are a very special young woman. I am so impressed by you. You are the real deal. Patience, Objectivity, Fairness, Civility.
Vildemose Aziz, Anahid Janam,
by minadadvar on Thu Mar 25, 2010 07:14 PM PDTI, too, have a negative reaction to Niloufar's comment, regading Jaleho. But, I also believe, that it is her pure/real sense of objectivity/fairness, that enables her to see beyond, what, most of us might consider as evil/unacceptable.
Dear capt-ayhab
by minadadvar on Thu Mar 25, 2010 07:46 PM PDTYou have raised several issues, regarding this blog/thread, that I find inaccurate.
Your statements:
1)"The blogs and the threads, particularely written about members should be objective not subjective".
2) "but this thread is about contributors and not about our personal opinion and wishes".
My response: The blog is about "Members' Favorites" . Favorite, Favoritism. It is, indeed, a subjective blog, reflecting personal opinion of the contributors.
3)Your statement: "She (Irandokht) is being left out...."
My response: I left "her" out, for the same reason, I left myself out as "most lovable", by goltermeh. One person/ a new catagory. There are other reasons. But, I do not feel comfortable discussing them.
Thanks for raising the issues. I am sure, others might have had the same concerns.
Be salamat (good release)
by Souri on Thu Mar 25, 2010 05:47 PM PDTYou always do a mess wherever you go. Don't mess up with Mina's blog this time, again!
Have you noticed that you were not mentioned in anybody's list (even once)?
That by itself says a lot about your presence here!

Thank you!!!

by Niloufar Parsi on Thu Mar 25, 2010 03:18 PM PDTthat many people object to my suggestion, and i respect that. it is Norooz though folks. that's all :)
captain khan thank you for the support.
i really did not mean to open up any issues here. this blog has been outstandingly goodhearted. save for a couple of comments, there has been no negativity and mina rather brilliantly did not include any negative categories on the list.
now i see that she has kept all that for a separate one. should be fun - can't wait!
Do you find Ahamdinejad and
by vildemose on Thu Mar 25, 2010 02:55 PM PDTDo you find Ahamdinejad and Khamenie courageous??
Anahid jan: It's mindboglling how anyone can call Jaleho, courageous. I couldn't agree more with your sentiments about that morally bankrupt creature.
Ms. Hojjati
by capt_ayhab on Thu Mar 25, 2010 03:58 PM PDTI am not arguing your points, nor am I defending her ideological stance. For I myself been subject of her slanders and attacks.
That said, point I am agreeing with Ms. Parsi, which I will stand firm, is The blogs and threads, particularly written about members should be objective and not subjective.
Granted our personal feelings, likes and dislikes fundamentally affects our writings, but this thread is about contributors and not about our personal opinions and wishes.
I hold the same position about the other person named in Ms. Parsi's comment, namely Ms. IRANdokht. She is being left out while one of the ladies who characterizes some people[including myself] as Pathetic is allowed to name her own category[more than once] and is named the most creative. Mani creativity ro ham fahmideem vala.

captain, regarding Jaleho
by Anahid Hojjati on Thu Mar 25, 2010 12:54 PM PDTI don' know about anyone else but I have nothing personal against jaleho. I don't find her courageous for same reason if I write glowingly about Hitler , then that is not courage. Jaleho day in and day out writes comments that are cringe inducing like the time she wrote that since number of killed ones For green movement was low that was like "lite" version of what happened in china in 1989. She has written numerous offensive comments and totally whitewashes crimnes of Iri, if you find this courageous, fine, but most people on IC don't.
I agree with Ms. Parsi - Edited
by capt_ayhab on Thu Mar 25, 2010 12:36 PM PDTI agree with Ms. Parsi in respect to Ms. JalehO, and others that you might have personal vendetta against.
This list should also include people who we do not necessarily agree with, but because they have the guts to stand their own ideology and beliefs.
That is a clear sign of impartiality, if nothing else.

dear Nilofar, jaleho has something but it is not courage
by Anahid Hojjati on Thu Mar 25, 2010 12:25 PM PDTJaleho defends a repressive government and in her blogs, she distorts truth, I am truly disappointed that u call this courage.
