I re-read all the comments. Something bad (like a gossip) was about to building up! I could become the direct target of that gossip's outcome.

Your comment, alhtough seemingly innocent, came right after a series of comment which was giving a way to that gossip.

I consider you as a wise and intelligent person who knows when they say what. This time I was shocked to see your comment, following that gossip.

I am sorry, if I attacked you for no apparent reason, but the direction of that gossip was not something productive.
Your comment fell at a bad time in the middle of something unhealthy.

How about the questions I asked you?

Why did you feel that you have to silence me when it's ok for others to even blog about people and their actions and deletion, name names and speculate which I did not do. You seem to have different measuring sticks for different people and I seem to have the short end of it, but without any explanation.

It's not right to attack someone out of the blue and when proven wrong to leave without a word. At least I didn't expect that from you.

Solo is not my concern. Please do not mix the issues.

I did not speak of her at all. What I wrote was after visiting an older blog and seeing one of Rosie's comment. I wish she had deleted some of those they're still bitter and hurtful.

If not let me repeat: I did not speak of solo, I did not speak of her comments regarding JJ's blog, I merely referred to JJ's blog and how many comments I see on that blog where EVERYONE spoke their mind. If I say it here you want to silence me. Why?

Even though you singled me out, I am not the one pretending to know what anyone is doing.

In my first comment, I said that if people deleted their comments it's not JJ's concern and then I wished everyone would go back and read what they have said and deleted the ones that were not so kind. 

It seems like you want to read more into it and make it an issue. I won't play along. I know what I said and I know why I said it. Who are you speaking for now?

BTW, In the 192 comments on that blog of J, there was not even one from or to  Solo. She hadn't participate in that blog.

She had some talks with me in my blog "I wish" on September 22.

Then she had also some minor argument with another lady in other blogs, but I don't think that would be a cause for a strong character like Solo, to leave the site.

How about someone starts a new blog after

Solo leaves this site. Anyone? Anyone?

Which the motive could really be something else.

I see over 190 comments under JJ's blog about this issue and everyone said what they thought. But somehow I am forbidden to mention the same thing?

I didn't see you object to any of the nasty ones, but you have an objection to my benign comment. Maybe different rules apply to people here. I must have missed that memo... 

btw what do you mean nobody wants a spokesman here? aren't you actually doing that right now?

If someone is so much hurt by a comment that they decide to leave the site, they do it right away, not a week later, and not after having actively participated in many other debates.

I think it's better to leave people the freedom to act as they want. Nobody knows nothing here, it's all the hypothesis.

Giving the free statement about other people's action, is not fair. If someone wants to talk about the reason of their departure from the site (if they are really leaving) then they will do it.

Nobody likes to have a spokesman in the site.

And I don't like to see the underlying comments like the ones of yours and Capt.....etc.

I wish more people would take a look at what they have said in the past and delete their not-so-kind comments. 

I am not pretending to know why some people deleted their comments or blogs, I am just hoping more people would revisit their old comments.

If someone wants to leave, they would delete all their blogs like Afshin did, not just the comments. Last night I noticed she left some of her comments. Maybe she did not see them, I don't know but why would she post a new blog today??

Looks like Solo is joining Afshin in deleting all her comments.  Sorry to see that. She was one of the few enjoyable, fair and intelligent posters.  JJ should be concerned.  This is his website and he should be concerned about who is leaving and why.  If he doesn't start caring, he's going to end up with... well, what he's got right now.

Why would anyone

want to delete comments on long forgotten blogs? It's a tedious task.
