President Mubarak has addressed the nation in a television broadcast after more than two weeks of anti-government protests in Egypt. He said he would continue to do his duty under the constitution until power was transferred to whoever won free and fair elections in September.

by Omid Hast on Fri Feb 11, 2011 09:16 AM PSTI drew this cartoon yesterday after watching Mubarak’s televised speech. Today seems to be a different story, requiring a different kind of cartoon.
Mubarak just resigned! :)
by Princess on Fri Feb 11, 2011 08:42 AM PSTNice cartoon Omid. Now let's watch what a nation of 7000 years of civilisation are going to do with their newly gained freedom. I hope they do much better than that nation of 2500 years of civilisation 32 years ago.

Mubarak Joke from Foreign Policy.com
"When Nasser became president, he wanted a vice president stupider than himself to avoid a challenger, so he chose Sadat. When Sadat became president, he chose Mubarak for the same reason. But Mubarak has no vice president because there is no one in Egypt stupider than he is."
