The reverence of the World, My Earth, the beloved land
Outwardly glorious, in all its might, the germ of our being, all in all

Loving the dust, the drop of each water, mesmerized, by its vastness
Catapulted to greatness, the very visual, majesty, and all its glory, for everyone to see

Come my darling, gather for this feast, for all there to know, the very Mother, of our being
Suckling on its very nipples, the ferocity of our passion, nowhere else in Universe, but right here, on our good Earth

As the days of the past, meandering, from infinity gone, for the one yet to come
Embrace its sweetness, the passion of its existence, from here-to-fore, in all its form, yes my darling, all in all

Taste the sweetness in my mouth, kiss my lips, yes my darling, make passionate love with me
All unknown, yet everything known, yes my sweet, hold me, let me embrace you, in all its form, yes my darling, sweet by and by

My brother Moses, in all its glory, admonished the love of its soil
Sweet Jesus, while on the cross, with all Trinity, yet not willing, to kiss its very Earth, no my darling, sweet by and by

Our beloved Mohammad, hand in hand, with sweet Bahaullah
Missing the whole thing, yes my darling, unbeknownst to them, even, to their very followers

My darling, this very Earth, is indeed, our Mother
Not some mumbo-jumbo in the sky, no my darling, but this very earth, is indeed, our Mother

Love it, worship it, protect it, yes my sweet, and nurture it
Nothing else, no my darling, but its very bosom, the dome of our creation, our very good Earth, yes my sweet, as it's indeed, our Mother

All the angels, from the throne of God, coming down, to keep us company
Yes my sweet, this is their throne, and indeed, God’s kingdom, and nothing else, now come, and protect, this very good Earth, as it’s indeed, our Mother

My darling, hold my hands, as we spread the seed of our love, to populate, this good Earth
Yes my darling, our passion, and indeed, our love, now come, for the very manifestation, of our sweet love, and life, on this very good Earth, as it’s indeed. our Mother

Hi! Humility,

I like the video very much 'cause it looks very Persian and has a lot of historical sites. The cameraman did a super job! I don't care about fancy hotels 'cause we have those in the West. I like Persian stuff! I hope I can visit those places when I get the chance. The strange thing is that the people in the video seem to wear Arab costumes instead of Iranian costumes......I maybe wrong?

thanks,

Passing Through

Dear yolanda - Follow up to the comment that I left right below

by Passing Through on

Back in the 1980's, there was a wonderful series on PBS called Joseph Campbell And The Power Of Myth

This series consisted of a total of six (6) one hour programs of interviews of the famed Mythologist Joseph Campbell by journalist Bill Moyers

Joseph Campbell was Professor of Comparative Religions at the Sarah Lawrence College in New York

I have to be honest with you about something: This is one of the greatest series that I have ever watched!

I highly recommend it - It will truly give you a great depth in much of the stuff that we have talked about in the past several blogs

I know that it comes both in VHS and DVD - Many Public Libraries have them, and you can check them out!

Take Care Sweetheart :)

PT

P.S. The interviews contain a lot of wonderful footage of different places around the world, and different people and traditions - These interviews were taken out of a total of twenty three (23) hours of raw footage, and mixed with these other great footage - Very Entertaining And Informative!

Dear yolanda

This last video, as you correctly said, is an absolutely beautiful video that matches the spirit of this blog

Let me share a couple of things with you:

In this World that we live in, duality is the name of the game:

By that I mean, things come in pairs of opposites: Male and Female; Light and Darkness; Ying and Yang; Good and Evil; etc.

Technically speaking, this occurs when things enter the domain of time and space

To unify this duality, one has to transcend this domain of time and space

Let me explain this:

In the case of a Man and a  Woman, when they fall in love, and they have both physical and spiritual union, the bliss that occurs transcends time and space

When people express the sentiment that they are experiencing eternity, that is what is truly meant: An experience that transcends both time and space

It's not an experience of here-after, when we die, but it is Now .. The Experience Of Eternity In The Here And Now!

Take some time to fully understand what I've written here .. If you do, then our spirits can dance together through eternity :)

Take Good Care Of Yourself Sweetheart :)

PT

P.S. These are not really difficult concepts - They may appear that way, but they truly aren't!

The movie Bab´Aziz (2005) directed by Nacer Khemir tells the story of an old and blind dervish who must cross the desert with his little granddaughter during many days and nights to get to his last dervish reunion celebrated every 30 years. The movie is full of Sufi mysticism and even contain quotes of Rumi and other sufi poets and shows an ecstatic sufi dance.

Dear PT,

I know that Iran has UNESCO heritage sites. The recent one is an Armenian chapel if memory is correct. My favorite is the Bam castle 'cause it looks super Persian to me. It is super sad that so many people died in the earthquake and ruined the castle. I hope it can be restored to its prior glory soon. I hope there is no war and no more lost lives and all the historical sites can be preserved for the world to see. Kish Island is super beautiful, it looks like Hawaii to me. I heard Iran wants to make Kish Island the 3rd most-visited resort in middle east. I am glad that Iran is better than Saudi Arabia......but Mecca and Medina look very pretty in pictures.

Iran should try to bring in the tourists and improve the economy! I hope there is a direct flight from LA to Iran soon!

Take care and thank you!!!

My Dear yolanda

Thank you for your comment

Iran is blessed with a variety of natural settings:

By that I mean, there are mountain ranges; deserts, coastal areas; and, other things in between

For example, if you go to a country like Saudi Arabia, it is primarily a desert; or, if you go to a country like Nepal, it's primarily mountainous  - Iran isn't like that :)

As far as National Parks, I am sure there are quite a few - However, they are not as well-organized as the ones in U.S.

Please feel free to ask any questions that you like

Dear PT,

Thank you for your blog. Here is my favorite:

There are 375 National Parks and National Monuments in US. I have visited 30 of them. My favorites are Death Valley National Park and Yellowstone National Park. According to Press TV, there is a beautiful water cave in Iran discovered by British spelunkers in 1976. I will see if I can find a short video for it. Does Iran have national parks and nature reserves?.....I know there are a lot of man-made pretty stuff in Iran like Bam castle......I hope they can restore Bam soon. It is absolutely gorgeous!

Take care and thank you! I am counting to 1:23 pm Friday! :O)
