Walking slowly, yet steadily, in the very direction, that bliss may lie
Without hesitation, much anticipation, indeed with great joy, in the direction, that bliss may lie
Nothing awkward, the very angels of heaven, beckoning us, to be thoroughly manifested
Unabashedly, with much warmth, and great certitude, yes my darling, all along our path, all through and through
The path of excellence, yes my brethren, no vice in sight, total virtue, from here to infinity
No colossal errors, never regretful, no my darling, the very manifestation, of divinity in here and now
The words of the wise, not yet spoken, no my darling, laying in wait, in the very bosom, of creation
Totally bewildered, with much musings, from our very angels, unbeknownst to all, yet quite known to God
The dreams of our fathers, the visions of our sons, in total expectation, yet not quite realized
With much faith, the very sweat of our brows, in total anticipation, yes my darling, they will indeed, all come to pass
The virtues of plans, all possibilities abound, for the very benefit, of our brothers, and indeed, our sisters
The plan of God, indeed my plan, all one and the same, yes my sweet, embrace it, make it part of your flesh, all with great joy
My Prayer of Jabez, your exhortation of the Almighty, the very spirit of creation, all intertwined, with much bliss
The blessings of rectitude, the fruits of our efforts, all being realized, in our very presence, from here to infinity
Come my darling, drink from this very spirit, that bears God's blessings
Nothing less, no my sweet, but the very manifestation, of all the harvest of creation, at our feet, now come, and drink from this very spirit, that bears God's blessings
In all Hell, and in the midst of Heaven, nothing aspires, to be, the very fruit of creation
All manifested, in the glory of our faith, the very blessing of certitude, to come to pass, in our midst, now drink, from this very spirit, that bears God's blessings
Remember my sweet, your very efforts, will indeed, manifest, the very character of God, in you
Nothing less, and indeed, nothing more, no my darling, but your very efforts, will indeed, manifest, the very character of God, in you

by yolanda on Wed Dec 09, 2009 11:40 PM PSTDear PT,
I found whole bunch of Rumi's poems I like. I got excited! I have not worked on Hafez and Saadi yet. If any videos do not belong in your blog, please do not hesitate to let me know, I can easily remove them. I really don't want to hurt people's feelings. I really like Rumi's philosophy! I prefer Rumi's poems over Khayyam's.
One question: What does :Ercan Saatci mean?
Take care!!

by yolanda on Wed Dec 09, 2009 11:01 PM PSTDear PT,
I have to say that I like Rumi's poems way more than Khayyam's poems. Here is Khayyam's poem, I think this poem reflects Khayyam's philosophy of life somewhat:

by yolanda on Tue Dec 08, 2009 10:22 AM PSTDear PT,
Yes, I will get one. I have both Amazon.com and Half.com accounts. I looked thru some Rumi's videos and poems this morning.....I really like his poems, the guy was very spiritual. The video I just posted this morning is less than 10 days old.....I am glad it has English translation. How come you know religions so well? :O) It is amazing that you know all the fine details!
Thank you for everything and take care!!!

A Note To All Commentators
by Passing Through on Tue Dec 08, 2009 02:49 AM PSTIn my comment below regarding the question that was asked about The Prayer of Jabez, I omitted something that is absolutely crucial to understanding this whole thing:
In the book of 1 Chronicles, as the name implies, it chronicles the facts involving who was the son of whom, and who was the father of whom
The very fact that this particular attention was given to Jabez, is a significant thing in and of itself
Let me explain to you what I mean: If you go to the book of 1 Chronicles, right above the verses that I have referenced below regarding Jabez, and also, right below these verses, all you see is who is the son of whom, and again, who is the father of whom .. Absolutely nothing else! The fact that this simple prayer resonates so much with one's Spirit, says much about the character of Jabez himself, and also, a great deal about the power of this simple prayer in the first place!
I hope that has clarified things :)
Tks,
PT
P.S. I would like to encourage you to look at this book of 1 Chronicles 4:9,10 to see what I'm saying - Like I said, please see the verses above, and also below, The Prayer of Jabez - Thank You!
Dear yolanda
by Passing Through on Tue Dec 08, 2009 12:06 AM PSTThe Persian Culture is one of the richest in the World :)
People such as Hafez, Sa'adi, Rumi, Ferdowsi, etc. are just the tip of the iceberg!
If you are truly interested in learning about the culture, the most important thing is to learn the language Persian (Farsi) first and foremost
Once you do that, everything else will flow naturally :)
Take Good Care,
PT

by yolanda on Mon Dec 07, 2009 11:14 PM PSTDear PT,
Your 2 videos are very interesting,..... so sufis do sing, the video has nice color combinations. It is just amazing to hear people in China speak Farsi, Wow! As you know there is quite a distance between China and Iran.
take care!

Dear yolanda
by Passing Through on Mon Dec 07, 2009 10:50 PM PSTThere are a great many presently existing countries that were part of Greater Iran in the past
Their language, culture, etc. is completely and totally derived from the Persian Culture
I want you to watch this short video to see what I'm saying .. I couldn't embed it because it is neither YouTube nor Google
Take Good Care :)

by yolanda on Mon Dec 07, 2009 09:09 PM PSTDear PT,
1) I should have known Jabez, but I did not! I am embarrassed! I need to read more.....knowledge has no bounds! I plan to read a lot of stuff: Rumi, Saadi, sufism, Hafez....
2) I got my miracle. Thank God! I know more are coming!.....I recall in one of your previous blogs....some of you discussed about the miracles in Bible, like parting of Red Sea....Jesus walking on water...... but, as far as I am concerned, the big miracles I want are ending of all the wars and ending of all killings, ending of all the executions, and ending of all the physical and mental tortures! I understand that people or countries have different ideologies, but we really don't need to just kill, kill, kill......we can communicate more....
3) If any videos are inappropriate, please let me know, I can remove them. You are the host here; I am just a guest! I respect your decisions!
4) Thank you for recommending the book! I plan to get a lot of reading done during X-mas break......I have a lot of curiosity about different things...knowledge always makes me happy!
5) Thank you again for the beautiful poem. When I come across with interesting videos, I will post them here. I will come back to read other people's posts, too!
take care!
