Soosan khanoom, I am not in

by persian westender on

Soosan khanoom, I am not in the position to criticize or to make literary critique of one’s write up...besides, blogging in IC is not a competition. Everyone is entitled to express themselves the way they want. I myself have many flaws in writing, especially in English....it is Ok. It is even a requirement for a successful blog!

I will read your poems by all means, but may not comment. You may feel my ghostly cyber-presence in your blog....

Cheers

Soosan Khanoom

Thank you

by Soosan Khanoom on

it is much more clear now .....

by fuzz I meant about the fact that almost every one talked about

the word " vangahee "  as the reply to your poem ...

but I am not going to stop by your blog anymore if you do not stop by mine ...

har deedee yeh baaz-deedee dareh

I am ready for the challenge .......  just be gentle in your criticism on my poems and writings .... I am not really a good writer as many of you are here at IC

: )

The first part of the blog is a poem/prose and you probably don’t want me to explain that, right? As a poet, you would understand that its not really explainable, it can be critiqued though, but not by me...

The PS part is simply my thought (and you can see it irrelevant to the poem, but what’s in the world is relevant?!) regarding the word ‘vangahi’ and that how some words such as this one are so much determining conceptually and phenomenologically. There’s nothing complicated here; words like this seem to be key in transforming the concepts, as drops can turn to sea (a fundamental change) only by mediating this word, without which drops still would be drops. (Who decides its time for the transformation or metamorphosis?) In my poem I used the word to terminate my drinking habit and transform to something wishfull....

Thanks for your honest inquiry, but nothing extraordinary was intended here and no fuzz-I believe was created.

I am especially more

I am especially more interested in the "vangahee" part ..... what is about it that had caused so many fuzz here?  and what is it that you really trying to say concerning your writing and this word ?

Soosan Khanoom

PW

by Soosan Khanoom on

I do not get much out of this writing of yours ...... seriously I don't !!  but what makes me feel bad is that it seems every one else gets it.  Could you please explain your intentions in writing this piece?

I am determined to find out it now while you, the author , still living rather than wait a century or two for the interpretations done by others on  your  intentions. That would then be even harder for me to grasp : )

now please explain ...

PS.. feel free to stop by my poems anytime and ask the same honest question

I know there are many deserted words from the old Persian literature which could come to life again.  I don’t know if its work of unconsciousness or what, that they re-emerge out of no where, time to time…..

Mamnoon for visiting

Orang, I don’t know

by persian westender on

If what I wrote is a fulgurance or not. Is it the same as prose? And I don’t know if what I wrote is a prose or poem. Even worse, I don’t know what the heck I really was writing, but glad that you liked it.

Anahid Hojjati

Thanks PW.

Thanks for your interesting blog. I have to say that I get the use of word in the ghatreh ghatreh sentence but I believe that I have not used this word for years. Somehow the word seems dated to me. Maybe I have to use it few times to become friends with it again. Can we write:

Anghadar khand va khand vangahi daana shod.

Your blog makes one to think of other words like this.

Beautiful and mean!

by ComraidsConcubine on

Persian Westender, that is so beautifully put and so mean to make me think about this for days to come.  For a while after reading your piece, I was stunned and too exhausted to type!

Btw vangahi, I noticed how ugly, truly hideous birdies' feet are. But then I'm such a bitch. ;)

P.S. Flag as abusive. CC is personally attacking herself and being really mean to dogs!

Orang Gholikhani

Thanks

Nice poem !

Yes you could call it poem or in French we call it  "fulgurance" .

Take care.

It's great to see that someone notices your absences (which are inevitable).Thank you for reading and for the compliment...

One point about "vangahi": I wish it could also be the turning point for the scattered political activities of Iranians....

It is a very enigmatic word.   I believe it is a composite of "va" and "aangaah". PW You always have interesting things to say when you come back from your absences.  Nice blog.

اگر واژه " وانگهی" وجود نداشت، "لابد" قطره ها قبل از رسیدن به دریا تبخیر
میشدند. لابد واژه "لابد" هم، از رسیدن قطره ها  به دریا مهجور میشه.
وانگهی، میخواستم اینو بگم، شما که یه همچین قلمی داری، بهتره که بیشتر
بنویسی، ولو اینکه خواننده هات یه مشت خل و چل باشن مثل من....
