Before the Olympics I visited China, and took this picture.

This statue is outside the Chinese Revolutionary History Museum.

I think no matter how hard the Chinese authorities try most people would remember the Tiananmen Square for the protest of 1989.

So it was, and I also like that movie specially for the cinematography and walking through the Forbidden city I was thinking of those scenes.

Remember Khomeiny Died the same Week as Tienanmen Riots

I remember that Khomeiny's death was overlooked by the press essentially because of the Tienanmen Riots. It was so Odd ! ...

As for me the Tienanmen Square in Front of the Forbidden City reminds me of Bertollucci's Last Emperor. What a Great Movie !
