One day, I asked my mom, "Were are we going for vacation?", and my mom said,"Italy", and I was so surprised!!!!!So for like 1 month that was all I was talking about. So it was time to pack for Italy. Finally we got on the plane and left. First stop was Houston (we didn't really do anything in houston), next stop Amsterdam!! I loved Amsterdam so much! The hotel was great and we went to play football in the park. So latter we were kind of hungry so we left to a restaurant. I wanted a chocolate pancacke. The chocolate pancacke was so big!! IT WAS PRACTICALLY BIGGER THAN MY HEAD!! So we went on the next plane to Rome, Italy. The plane was 8 hours!!So when we finally got to Rome we checked into a wonderful hotel. The first night my brothers and me discovered that we could go to the rooftop!!It was the most beautiful view I have ever seen!So then,we finally took a tax I to the coliseum, it was great I loved it. Later we went to see some caves the Romans built underground. So finally we took a wonderful train to Venus! Venus was beatiful too, and we were looking for a boat ride and there was 2 men that had a canoe and it was 400 euros! So Later we found another person who had a boat ride for 50 euros so we took that one.

Robert doesn't have to limit
by Shoe Thrower (not verified) on Wed Feb 11, 2009 05:31 AM PSTRobert doesn't have to limit himself. He can tell us his stories like he has so far as well as his interviews with his uncle JJ. They are all good.
People are not pushing Robert to do anything. People who introduce the word "push" are pushing. Don't you think?
Besides, I understand the uncle-nephew relationship very well because I am an uncle, love my nephew, love my own uncle and love the games and horseplays my nephew and I play as well as the games my uncle and I played. This relationship is very interesting to me.
Robert I like your stories of JJ. They are interesting. I would like to see more of them. Of course it is up to you to tell us whatever you want.
I want to know about Robert, not JJ
by Nazy Kaviani on Tue Feb 10, 2009 05:06 PM PSTThank you for sharing your photographs with us, Robert. I had already read your text in one of your earlier blogs, but when I ran into the word Venus, you brought a smile to me all over again! I'm sure you mean Venice the city, not Venus the planet, right?
Robert, I hope you enjoy telling these stories as much as we enjoy reading them or watching them. The best kind of stories to hear is one where the storyteller is enjoying himself (or herself).
I know some people really like to see things about your uncle JJ, and they keep pushing you to do this or ask that of JJ, but I think your uncle has been really lazy in telling us his stories and he should be the one telling us about them now.
I would really like to hear Robert's stories about Robert's travels, and Robert's life. Please do share them with us again. By now you know that your stories don't have to be really complicated to be cool! The Sefid story was simply great! The "Food" photo essay was really good, too!
Remember, any small event can be something to write about. A trip to get your hair cut, a trip to the local supermarket to buy groceries. Giving Sefid a bath. All of those could be good stories to tell if you take the time to take good pictures or write about them.
Thanks again, Robert and I look forward to seeing your blogs again soon!
Nice Robert. Now when are
by Shoe Thrower (not verified) on Tue Feb 10, 2009 04:47 PM PSTNice Robert. Now when are we going to see The Interview III?! Sounds like Rocky III, doesn't it?! Maybe you can ask your uncle JJ to do a little talent show. Like maybe sing a little song or a poem, do a Lezgee dance or imitate an American Idol audition?!
Or or wait, I got it, maybe you and him can get one of his imfamous shoes and throw them at a target! First one hitting the target wins!
Dear Robert
by Souri on Tue Feb 10, 2009 04:25 PM PSTThank you soooo much for those beautiful pictures. You made my day/evening!
Italy is almost my second country so much I love it. I love Rome. She is the most beautiful city I have ever seen. Every time I have a chance to choose (and that is so rare!!) I chose Italy and Rome for vacation.
I'm sure if you go there in couple of years, you will find again some new aspects of this country and the life over there, that you haven't seen the first time....and each time is a new discovery.
Your video is really well done. Excellent!!
