Happy Fathers Day my brave compatriots.

Today I was woken up even earlier than usual by the excited shouts of "Happy Fathers day" by my four boys. Having had a sip at the freshly brewed coffee and a bite at the cake made by the wife for the occasion, my thoughts soon drifted to the Fathers back home, perhaps less fortunate than myself...

I thought of Tens of Thousands of fathers who have had the lives of their children, the loves of their lives, cut short by the criminal munsters ruling my country Iran. I thought of the fathers whose children are jailed, tortured and raped for their love of Iran, human values and democracy. I thought of the fathers who are themselves killed or imprisoned by these islamist fascists, because of their thoughts, their love for Iran and Iranians. I thought of their children....

To All of you my beloved freedom loving, patriotic compatriots: Happy Fathers day!

Faramarz aziz, thank you very much for sharing the clip and storyline. you know I really like marhoom aghassi whom I really got to know of properly, just like the taghooti era films, after moving to Us in my late twenties. the plot, seem to be very typical of films of that era.  I can imagine lots of ordinary folks enjoying watching these films when first released, despite all their faults. My own favourite parts are laways  their ever happy endings.

Iranian Fathers Are Among the Best!

روز پدر را به همه پدر های خوب ایرانی از جمله روزبه عزیز و مهرداد خوب تبریک میگم.

یکی از فیلم های خوب قبل از انقلاب در باره روابط پدر و بچه فیلم نعمت نفتی آغاسی بود با آهنگ های قشنگ از جمله:

تو همه دنیا فقط من

یک بابا دارم

روحش شد و اینهم قصه ی این فیلم.

مرد هوسراني (منوچهر اخضرپور)، كه به همسرش (مهري وداديان) بدگمان است، زن و فرزندش نعمت را كه فلج است از خانه مي راند و حاضر نمي شود براي نعمت شناسنامه بگيرد تا او به مدرسه برود. نعمت با كارهايي نظير واكسي، تصنيف فروشي، نفت فروشي و آوازخواني در كنار مادرش امرار معاش مي كند. او بزرگ مي شود و به پايتخت مي رود. نعمت (نعمت الله آغاسي) در كافه اي پست به عنوان خواننده مشغول به كار مي شود و در اندك مدتي محبوبيت مي يابد و كار كافه هاي اطراف را كساد مي كند. نعمت با دختري (آرزو غفاري) آشنا مي شود و با او ازدواج مي كند. او مادرش را نزد خود مي آورد، و نقشه هاي رقبايش را نقش بر آب مي كند. نعمت پدرش را كه به افلاس افتاده و به طور ناشناس به او مراجعه كرده، به عنوان دربان كافه استخدام مي كند. پدرش او را به جا مي آورد و طلب بخشش مي كند. نعمت پدر را به خانه مي برد؛ اما مادرش او را از خانه مي راند، تا اين كه مرد با به خطر انداختن جان خود همسرش را از خطر تصادف با اتومبيل نجات مي دهد و از نو در كنار هم زندگي را از سر مي گيرند.
