Dear Hon. Harper

The report of the closure of Canadian visa and Immigration section in Tehran by Harper government is a not a friendly action for the Canadian Iranian Community.

The colure will force the parents, family members of Canadian Iranian to travel to Ankara to apply for the visa which is unfair and bias by the government.

Ignoring the voices of majority of our community on the restriction of people and not the authorities will lead to the suffering of thousands of families of Canadian Iranian but not the regime of Iran.

In the past several years Canadian Iranian community has been trying hard to improve the service of the Canadian Embassy in Tehran which improved with the assistance of Mr. Jason Keeney, Canada Minister of immigration and citizenship, however, the new policy shift is contradiction of the Mr. Kenney’s past efforts and friendship gesture towards our community. For Instance, Mr. Keeney wrote to us on March 2009 that :

“ As Minister of Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism, I would like to particularly acknowledge the many contributions that Iranian Canadians have made to Canada. The members of your community have long contributed to our society with their skills, knowledge and talent. Canadian diversity is a fundamental characteristic of our society and we applaud your efforts and contributions to that diversity, to the benefit of all of Canada. “

The new policy has been implemented by the Canadian Government will hurt the large number of Canadian Iranian Community. Also, it won’t help Canadian multiculturalism therefore, we request PM, Mr. Harper to correct the unfair policy promptly.

Thank you for your consideration.

Yours truly

"I want you in my pants".

by Farfromheaven2002 on

We I read comments from two sides of spectrum: hatred/war and relaxation/peace I hear people in Iran screaming:

"I want you in my pants."

p.s. a related subject.  When I used to send careless emails with spelling mistakes someone told me "pull up your pants".  I thought if I would send such an email in Farsi, and I realized the only message to the sender was: I only cared about myself; I didn't care about you.

Let's expect from ourselves not others.

by Farfromheaven2002 on

Last week Canada cut several budgets from prisons to government jobs, and the embassy in Iran was not an exception.  Canada has already accommodated lots of Iranian immigrants and refugees.

Spy men in black suits and sun glasses.

by Farfromheaven2002 on

Do we still believe that spy agents wear black suit with dark sun glasses? Iranians who portray insulting, abusing or disrespecting behavior towards other Iranians does not deserve sympathy. One cannot expect more from a life under an ignorance government.

Iranians as soon as reach kindergarten they are learning from modified/biased religious books. They also believe it's okay to do illegal acts because listening to a music is illegal. I remember that a man asked a lady to keep it quiet in an Iranian concert in Canada because her beautiful attitude was against Islamic Persian.

Bavafa: Partially, you are right. This will not prevent regime's agents to immigrate to Canada or USA because the can buy their residency and visa with money. They have access to unlimited funds.

How does this action help preventing …

by Bavafa on

IRI sympathizers from access to Canadian consultant and therefore applying/getting a visa to Canada? Those of IRI connected personal have certainly enough $$$ and easy access to travel to another nation to apply for a visa, hence making this action null if the intention is to preventing them from applying for a visa.  If Canada does not have adequate process and procedure in place to shed thru the list and grant visa to those who they deem deserving, then making people travel to a third country will hardly help them.

So, I do take this action as a collective punishment for the Iranian people and for that I condemn their policy.  The more these nations act against Iranian people, the more they alienate themselves and create more distrust for the Iranian people.

It's about time. If this will prevent people like the author of this blog to immigrate to Canada to spread their hateful agenda then I am all for it. Canada is infested with Islamist reformers and Hezbollah theives running the subversive fIslamic centers in Canada.  Enough is enough.

I am againt wars and conservative routes.  But, I believe it was certainly necessary to close the Canadian embassy.  Please drop by and see all IRI people wondering in streets of Toronto and particularly Vancouver. Canadian modest policy was misused by IRI fans.

Every single embassy and line of communication between the IR Terror Regime and the outside world must be broken bar only emergency travel.
There must be sqnctions, followed by an all out embargo and direct military action to destroy once and for all this evil anti-Iranian regime.
I sincerely hope that an Israeli bomb lands on the Sepah, Basij and IRCG and all of the Terror Regime's political establishment. All officials of the Islamic Republic, whether military or civilian; all supporters of the Islamic Republic must be targeted and killed without hesitation. Freedom comes at a price. IRAN MUST BE SAVED.
