you're right.  this IS a terrific community.  not without its drama as with any family but an international group of wonderful people.  we (foreigners) have a vested interest in Iran.  either politically, as ALL americans do and should have an interest, or personally, as in iranians who have married foreigners or iranians who are now living in a foreign country.  are YOU not a foreigner living somewhere other than iran?  would you suggest that your host country label YOU a divisionary member of the community? of course not!  if you would take a few minutes and read the various comments involving "foreigners", you will notice than many iranians support our ideas and comments instead of labeling us and denigrating our contributions.  you might not LIKE our comments all the time but please remember... iranian.com is a website.  it's not a country where one is required to have citizenship. it is open to anyone and everyone.  it's called iranian.com sure... but it's a name dude... just a name. 

and until JJ, who is the sole owner of iranian.com tells me otherwise, foreigners have just as much right to be here as you do.  it is not intended to be exclusive to iranians.

i can't speak for anyone else but i know what my interest in iran is.  and the only person whose feelings i'm interested in are my husbands.  as long as he knows and appreciates my efforts towards and about his motherland and hamvatans, that's all i care about.
