I can tolerate opposing views , angry rethoric , insults , different breed and different creed , so long as I am free to respond and say my piece too without the person opposing me being the sherrif too .
But I tell you what , I will speak against suppression & injustice no matter the cost, either in real life like the time as a 15 yr old got 2 fingers broken defending a so called soosool being beaten by 4 hezbollahis in front of former US embassy or as I have tried to do in my personal life or in cyber world such as this . I wasn,t luckily tested in Iran for the injustice witnessed by millions after I left shortly before the war or knowing myself I wouldn,t be here to talk about it . We all have our own little tests in life , be it in the market , in a foreign war , in a relationship , at work or in the cyber world such as this . The test is simple : speak up when you see suppression .
I was blocked for the simple fact that I spoke up against the personal agenda of a lone moderator who played the role of sherrif, judge and a jury with immence power to stalk opponents via annonym comments, impersonations & later delete their views all along with total impunity for the last little while . I spoke about it loud and clear as did those few others . We all pay the price for silence, be it on a petty cyber place such as this with little tyrant or in real life with grand tyrants .
The test is yours ,
My name is Sam

by rosie is roxy is roshan on Sat Feb 07, 2009 07:10 AM PSTRead my long post elow and then tell me more about the vendetta. I'm all ears.
sorry sam i'm getting rid of 'em,
by rosie is roxy is roshan on Sat Feb 07, 2009 11:14 PM PSTyou are probably right that you were targeted in a certain way but not the way you thought because that person doesn't have those privileges you said. and that's that. that was the point of that blog and you were wrong and i was wrong. and this'll be the end of it. one more blog for me. thanks for everything though.
vendetta?
by programmer craig on Sat Feb 07, 2009 06:00 AM PSTit seems very much like a pure vendetta against IRANdokht.
What, you mean people don't like it when somebody viciously attacks them in an online forum, and then takes it upon themselves to remove their pathetic attempts to defend themselves?
IRANdokht is the "thought police" from George Orwell's 1984. Literally. And, apparrently, that is OK.
Samsam and Zion, I admire your tenacity. But I think, as the Borg would say, "resistance is futile".
Sam and Zion: Although you
by AnonymousDude (not verified) on Sat Feb 07, 2009 04:16 AM PSTSam and Zion: Although you two may or may not be on the same political wave lengths, but good to see your common persistence and not allowing our hypocrite site managers/moderators step on you.
People in Iran are being stepped on everyday. Luckily in here we don't have to take it. Keep up the good work!
Defnition of hypocrisy: Nothing is sacred (except when I judge it is!)

community guy
by anonymous fish on Fri Feb 06, 2009 03:54 PM PSTyou're right. this IS a terrific community. not without its drama as with any family but an international group of wonderful people. we (foreigners) have a vested interest in Iran. either politically, as ALL americans do and should have an interest, or personally, as in iranians who have married foreigners or iranians who are now living in a foreign country. are YOU not a foreigner living somewhere other than iran? would you suggest that your host country label YOU a divisionary member of the community? of course not! if you would take a few minutes and read the various comments involving "foreigners", you will notice than many iranians support our ideas and comments instead of labeling us and denigrating our contributions. you might not LIKE our comments all the time but please remember... iranian.com is a website. it's not a country where one is required to have citizenship. it is open to anyone and everyone. it's called iranian.com sure... but it's a name dude... just a name.
and until JJ, who is the sole owner of iranian.com tells me otherwise, foreigners have just as much right to be here as you do. it is not intended to be exclusive to iranians.
i can't speak for anyone else but i know what my interest in iran is. and the only person whose feelings i'm interested in are my husbands. as long as he knows and appreciates my efforts towards and about his motherland and hamvatans, that's all i care about.
peace out.

Mass psychogenic illness
by khaleh mosheh on Fri Feb 06, 2009 01:28 PM PST..or mass hysteria //en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Collective_hysteria is prevailing in these threads- and this is to put it kindly as from a slighly different view it seems very much like a pure vendetta against IRANdokht.

Curly : Dont worry , you were on the hit list but if you were lil more active, than you would get it too, she might be jealous of your curly hair thoueh :) u r one cool missy ,cheers
The Mrs; Stay away? believe me I tried , but she would inject herself even into dialogues between me and her groupie under annonym and with personal attacks and deletion...it,s called "kineh shotori"..cheers !!!
my lie detector asks that this rusty detector shows any thread I used the term "evil moderator" or just crawl back to underground , the many id,s her friend used are too obvious not to see, "real patriot", "Derakhshandeh" impersonating "MRX1" "marjan" ,impersonating "Annonym fish", impersonating kaveh nouraii" impersonating annonymx "yeh irooni" and 101 farsi and english nicks . The tactic is simple , what she cant say under her own avator for image purposes will be done via annonymity to demean others ..basicaly having a toy factory as a play room for a 8 yr old to play prank on others .

'If you want to stay follow the rules or leave the site. Stop insulting people, belittling people, humiliating people because they are different or disagree with you...Freedom does not mean to insult others and get away with it.'
No end to the wonders one finds in this particular circus!
Samy boy face the facts
by zionist detector (not verified) on Thu Feb 05, 2009 09:00 PM PST1. you always referred to me as "evil moderator" and you always thought I'm "her". You have been 100% wrong! I'm not a woman and I have no idea who the moderator is.
2. You would not stop attacking me for being her and attacking her for being me!
3. The Rolling Stones put it best "You can't always get what you want..." Get on with it. If you want to stay follow the rules or leave the site. Stop insulting people, belittling people, humiliating people because they are different or disagree with you.
4. You can't humiliate others and expect respect in return.
5. My comments have been deleted too but I never complained. Do you understand what role an editor plays in a publication?
6. You are constantly attacking the publisher/editor/moderator. Why are you wasting your time on this publication then?
7. Freedom does not mean to insult others and get away with it.
8. Changing your name and avatar may help you to start a new here.
