Nema Milaninia is the executive director of the International Studies Journal, a peer publication based in Tehran, Iran. He is also chapter vice-president of the Iranian-American Bar Association and editor of the group blog //www.iraniantruth.com. He received his B.A. from the University of California, San Diego, M.A. from the American University in Cairo in international human rights law, and a J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of Law. Mr. Milaninia has published numerous articles on Iran, human rights, and democracy and has been featured on National Public Radio, National Law Journal, San Diego Tribune, BBC News, New York Times, Toronto Star, the Guardian, and other publications. He currently resides in San Francisco, CA.
