The monarchist delusions!

After the Islamic regime ruling Iran, due to their anti-democratic nature, supporters of the Pahlavi regime (who are in fact remnants of the Rastakhiz party enablers and SAVAK-related institutions) are the biggerst impediment in our nation's future path towards freedom and democracy.

These vindictive bunch are mostly 50+ and stuck in the Cold War mentality, hence perpetuation of paranid delusion of a communist take-over even over two decades past the fall of communism and disintegration of Soviet blocks! They refuse to snap out of this 3 decade long hibernation and accept the reality that the world has changed and no one takes such a view seriously. The reason for such a refusal has more to do with their emotional attachment to the Pahlavi regime and the fear that if they accept the reality, they have to admit that the Pahlavi regime is dead and it's impossible to re-establish the pre-1979 set up! 

Instead, they keep making believe that the Pahlavi regime was a victim of a conspiracy by enemies worldwide (from the communists, to JM, to Islamists and even Carter!).  Nonetheless, they have no answer to the question as to why, if Shah's regime was so democratic and perfect, people sided with his enemies? Didin't he propogate the notion of "the alliance of the black and white reactionaries" enough? Whay would people do the opposite of what he asked them to do? The answer is simple; they did not trust him, as they do not trust Khamenei and his regime and do the exact opposite of what he tells them to do! Historically, this is our people's way of opposing despots and autocrats!

Although world has come a long way and gone through drastic changes, Pahlavi supporters are still stuck in the same mentality as 1979, adhere to the same delusional views and still bitter about their loss as if they're frozen in time! While the rest of the political groups have been trying to work together towards a viable democratic alternative to IRI, Pahlavi supporters are still blaming and insulting every group and political entity who dares to not agree with their views. Ironic, however, is that many of the political activists and prisoners of conscience under IRI -- whose human rights RP and his followers claim to support -- are leftists such as Rais Dana (who has close relationship with JM), Nasser Zarafshan (who represented the Foruhars' survivours in court and was arrested for it), Narges Mohammadi (arrested in post 1988-elections protests), Mansur ossanlu (the Bus Drivers' Union activist) and many members of the student and tachers associations, trade unions and civil society activists are left leining entities who would be categorically dismissed as "communists" by the Shahollahi defintion of lftist!

Here is our friend, Parham's eloquent way of describing Shahollahis' paranoid fear of the left:

The Problem with the Left

The problem with the "Left" has always been the leftists!

They are the same "Oghdeh-ei-Siasi" today that they were over 30 years ago. They are just much older, more stubborn and less connected to the reality.

The passage of time will take care of this problem too since they have not been able to recruit anybody young either, and in the past 20+ years neither the ex-communists nations nor the Arab Springers have signed up for their ideology.

But then again, since the Iranian-left managed to introduce the first theocracy in the modern age more than 33 years ago, they may believe that they can do the first communist nation in the 21st century too!

Anticipating the future or resenting the past!

Dear MK, as usual, thank you for a logical and level-headed interjection, especially at a time when anti-democratic, Shahollahi savages, just like their Hezbollahi counterparts inside Iran, try to dominate and monopolize the discourse outside Iran! Just as their fascist siblings do inside Iran, they're under the impression that they own the territory that's not claimed/marked by the Islamic regime, hence try to enforce their own version of fascistic terms and rules outside Iran!

Apparently, the Pahlavi worshipping gang hasn't been able to recover from the kick-in-the-butt they received 34 years ago from the people who were disillusioned with the Rastakhiz farce and the "golden gates of civilization" scam! That's why they're still dizzy and disorianted so much that are still bitter about the past and can't let go of what happened 34 years ago!

Indeed, it is quite heartening that you envision the free Iran of tomorrow in which nearly all political groups play a part in rebuilding Iran and the role of civil society and free electoral system after the fall of Islamic fundamentalism. This indeed is what we should be doing at this jucture in the history of our motherland. Yet, sadly but matter of factly, Pahlavi worshippers are not able to envision such a future, for not only they're not after such an atmosphere in which they (just like Islamists do) make up only a small minority of the electorate, but they still are after taking revenge for the fall of their A'lahazrat Ariamehr (the shadow of god) and still talk about hanging akhoonds from the trees, summarily executing as many leftists as they could get a hold of and forcing the rest out on exile!

This is essentially what monarchists are promissing so far with regards to the future of Iran! Trade unions, student assemblies, workers' associations, writers' guild and many many other civil society institutions are non-entities to this bunch just as they were during the Pahlavi regime. No need for any of this "soosool bazi" which could be used by "kharabkaran" to undermine the "national security." All they need to do is to re-establish the Rastakhiz party to take care of them all!

Of course, this is until the dizziness of the 34 year old kick wears off... if ever!

Mossadeghis Thank Our Leftist Friends

I want to express my utmost gratitude to all our wonderful progressives who have said kind words for Dr. Mossadegh, democracy, freedom, and human rights. Specifically, I want to again express my great admiration and gratitude to our wonderful and erudite progressive writers on this site: Zendanian, Roozbeh, CallmeRed, and Arj.

We, in Jebhe Melli thank YOU for your support. And we will ALWAYS defend your civil liberties and your political rights. Hopefully, the coalition of all modern, pro-democracy forces (liberal democrats, democratic socialists) will defeat the reactionary and dictatorial forces (fundamentalists and fascist monarchists).

We will not allow anyone to divide the most promising broad coalition emerging in recent history of our country.

It is absolutely wonderful to observe the evolution of Iranian left which today supports democracy, civil liberties, human rights. This can NOT be said about our monarchists, who remain as FASCISTIC in 2012 as they were in 1978. Actually, the moronic Pahlavist monarchists have become more tyrannical and blood-thirsty in the past 34 years. There are two groups today that are as bad or more tyrannical than they were 34 years ago: hard-line fundamentalists and right-wing fascistic monarchists.

We in Jebhe Melli regard our wonderful democratic socialist friends as our strategic partners. Together we will defeat the fundamentalist terrorist regime, and help establish a democratic secular republic, and then work to consolidate the democracy in post-fundamentalist Iran. Together we help our civil society grow: workers’ unions, women’s associations, teachers’ syndicates, journalists union, student groups, .... We will end the de jure discrimination and oppression of all minorities (ethnic, religious, etc).

Of course we will have our differences. We, liberal democrats and social democrats of Jebhe Melli believe in a mixed economy. We realize that our socialist friends believe in socialist economy. In the democratic Iran, the PEOPLE in periodic free, democratic, and pluralistic elections will vote for whomever they desire in election after election: they will decide whether they would support JM’s mixed economic policies (including protection for capitalist free enterprise) or socialist economic policies. This free choice is exercised in all democracies, and it will not be any different in the democratic Iran.

The Iranian people deserve a truly democratic polity denied them by the fundamentalist and monarchist savages.

I am not sure the bizarre elamieh referred to by Fred that Aksariyat sent its condolences for the death of the North Korean tyrant is accurate. The site is NOT the site of Aksariyat. Aksariyat has its own site. If the elamieh was a genuine elamieh, then Fred should have been able to link to the Aksariyat site. I personally strongly oppose Aksariyat, but I do not think they are THAT STUPID to write such a garbage. If Fred can prove that the elamieh is genuine (by placing a link to Aksariyat’s site), then we should condemn Aksariyat for issuing that stupid elamieh. But what the hell that got ANY thing to do with lefties, which he distinguishes from left. Those in the left that are supporting Mossadegh, democracy, civil liberties, and human rights are not the Aksariyat, but rather the bulk of our unaffiliated leftist activists (e.g., Roozbeh, Zendanian, Callmered, and Arj on this site and thousands of others elsewhere outside Iran and inside Iran). صد البته، بلاگر مادام العمر ایرانیان.کام و تبلیغاتچی پر کار دار و دسته پهلوی، از قاعده بالا مستثنی نیست. ایشان ظاهراً هر زمان که از دنده چپ (استغفرالله، منظور همان چپول است!) از خواب برمیخیزد، با ادبیات شعبان بیمخی خود سخت درگیر حمله به دگر اندیشان شده، و همچون حسین شریعتمداری، همتای حزب‌اللهی خود فتوای تکفیر و تبعید آنها را صادر می‌کند! ایشان نه تنها حق ابراز عقیدهٔ را از آنها سلب نموده، بلکه با صدور فتوای فلّه‌ای امر بر برابر بودن همه چپی (چپول!) ها، و در نتیجه، کمونیست و مرتد بودن آنها، به انضمام فرمان تبعید آنها به شوروی (که دیگر وجود خارجی‌ ندارد!) را می‌کند. جالب اینجاست که ایشان پا را از این هم فراتر گذاشته، و همچون نگهبان و دربانی که از حریم ارباب خود دفاع می‌کند، خواهان کوچ آنها که مخالف با کودتای آمریکا در میهنشان هستند (ولو اینکه در آمریکا زندگی‌ نکنند!) به کره شمالی می‌باشد! ظاهراً امر به ایشان اینگونه مشتبه شده که هنوز ساواکی در کار است و حزب رستاخیزی برپا ‌ست که بار لگستیکی و امنیتی این کوچ را به شانه‌ گیرند!!!

این شعبان بیمخان قرن بیست و یکم، نه تنها بویی از دمکراسی که شب وروز سنگ آنرا به سینه‌ میزنند و حقوق بشری که برای آن اشک تمساح میریزند نبرده اند، بلکه عملا پشیزی هم برای آن ارزش قائل نیستند. وگرنه می‌‌توانستند به این درک برسند که آزادی اظهار عقیدهٔ و ابراز هویت گروهی از اصول اولیه حقوق بشر است، همینطور آزادی تغییر مکان و سکنی! این بیخبران از آزادی و آزاد‌گی حتی قادر به درک این مطلب نیستند که حقوق بشری که همواره در انظار عموم برای پایمالی آن توسط رژیم اسلامی سینه‌ چاک میکنند، و حقوق بشر تمام ایرانیها (که مشمول توده‌‌ای ها، اگر هنوز چیزی از آنها باقیست!) میشود ملک پدری هیچ گروه و دسته ای نیست، و هیچ کس حق کتمان این حقوق در یک نظام آزاد را ندارد، چه لومپن‌های از جنس حزب‌اللهی آن و چه شاه الهی!

Funnier is when the gathering is conjoined by members of the Gauche Caviar (aka Champaigne Marxists). Our CommuMossaghollahis define their own terms and conditions and in their small world they become literati!!

Zendanian Aziz, I have always been a huge fan

Of any left movement.  Perhaps because their arguments make more sense to me.   Or may be it has to do with me being more left handed.   : ) 

Saltanat Talaban just like VF and BiBi Talaban, they simply don't make any sense Ofcourse to those who are aware.  

This autocorrect on my iPhone keeps turning ' Talaban' to ' Taleban' I have no clue. We don't even talk about Afganestan here.   LOL

البته در توصیف طیف روان پریشان سلطنت طلب (که روزی دوبار بسیار شبیه به اسهالی مزمن) ذهنیت کور خود را برای تفرح همگان به نمایش میگذارند، مثنوی هفتاد من کاغذ میتوان نوشت، ولی کمبود وقت و نازل بودن  سواد و فهم ایشان برای ما در این امر مقداری محدودیت ایجاد میکند.
بنابر این این یادداشت را با نکاتی ساده و پرسشی هایی  ساده تر  خاتمه میدهیم.
تنها سنت مبارزه مسلحانه توده ی در ایران بر علیه جمهوری اسلامی از سوی نیروهای چپ آغاز شده، ادامه یافته و هنوز موجود میباشد.
تنها نهادهای مستقل کارگران و دیگر زحمتکشان در جامعه فقط و فقط از سنت چپ ایرانی بر میخیزد.
تنها نمونه های اعتصاب عمومی در ایران از سوی تشکلات چپ در ایران سازمان دهی شده است.
