Netanyahu and his ilk!
Insecurity ... nuff said.
by IraniIrooni (not verified) on Sun Dec 28, 2008 09:04 PM PSTThese likudniks, just like the neocons here in the US, win support by increasing fear and insecurity in people, by always mentioning the holocaust and/or Germans/Nazis. likuds have done this for decades in israel.
of course no one sees just how its been that they have driven the increase in bloodshed in that area. they know what they're doing. You can say they are utilitarians as they're ok with creating bloodshed and losing lives now, as long as it helps israel gain power in the long run. They want nothing but instability among not only Palestinians, but also all arab countries, and also in Iran. They know that given the history of the middle east, given the strong pride everyone has in its ethnicity and history, that 'democracies' won't work. And if they do, it will take lots of trials and errors during a long time, for which no one in the West or in the middle east has patience. They are pushing for these blooody pro democracy strategies because they know they will destabilize all of these countries and create conflicts internally. Go and read about the likudnik strategy and thinking beginning in the early 80s. They've been pushing for what we are seeing today for yrs. Of course no one has guts to come out and point it out ... because, as demonstrated with this shyster likud speech, if you say one thing against israel or israel policies, you will be labeled a Nazi. the way I look at it is that a 'nazi' as translated in parsi isn't that bad. Us Iranians have always loved the naz and nazi men, women and children :)
He is talking crap
by Toofantheoncesgreat (not verified) on Sun Dec 28, 2008 08:44 PM PSTHe is courting the electorate. When he steps into office and Mossad puts a map over the middle east infront of him with some basic military facts about Iran, he will turn into "Oy Vey Sanction Iran" mode like the current government. Their military command, much like the Pentagon, is not interested in armed conflict with Iran.
Hot air!
by Ajam (not verified) on Sun Dec 28, 2008 08:33 PM PSTIndeed, he's most likely to be the next Israeli prime minister. He's the one who put the final nail in the Oslo Accord's coffin! But this time there are no accords for him to kill, ecxept if he wants to get into spontaneous adventures with Iran!
Finally, the moment of truth is about to come, and the zionists will get the chance to put their money where their mouth is and show the world what thy're made of!!

Criminal!
by magaz (not verified) on Sun Dec 28, 2008 08:26 PM PSTIsn't this the same guy who was charged and convicted of embezzlement or something like that in Israel a few years ago? Why should one believe this criminal?
The Bomb Rhetoric
by Party Girl on Sun Dec 28, 2008 07:45 PM PSTAnd while you are looking at that 2006 speech, here's one example of some six or seven recent television appearances by a Mr. Alireza Jafarzadeh of MKO, saying Iran is after the nuclear bomb (CNN and FOXnews among others). This one was on Austrian Television ORF yesterday.
See things from the other side's view
by nonjewirani (not verified) on Sun Dec 28, 2008 07:36 PM PSTIf one is of the beleif that Israel must be wiped off the face of earth (Islamic Republic)or thrown in the sea (the majority af Arabs and Palestinins,) then there is no point in discussing what Natanyahu is saying. But if you are an Israeli jew, or someone in the position of looking after the security of your constituents, then you cannot ignore all the threats leveled against you by your sworn and declared enemies. Just put yourself in the place of the citizens of Israel or their statesmen: would it not be naive to think that Inshaallah your enemies are bluffing and they really don't mean you any harm. But then again, if you beleive in erradication of Israel, then you know in your heart what Natanyahu is talking about.
Thanks PG
by Iranian Reader on Sun Dec 28, 2008 07:25 PM PSTVery timely indeed.
Clip Date
by Party Girl on Sun Dec 28, 2008 07:19 PM PSTI think it took place in November 2006. The significance of this widely publicized speech (see his wiki page below) is mostly in the high probability that Mr. Netanyahu may very well be the next Prime Minister of Israel come February.

From Wikipedia:
Response to Iran
Strongly against Iran's pursuit of uranium enrichment, Netanyahu said "It’s 1938, and Iran is Germany, and Iran is racing to arm itself with atomic bombs”.[7][8] In a 8 March 2007 interview with CNN, he asserted that there is only one difference between Nazi Germany and the Islamic Republic of Iran, namely that the first entered a worldwide conflict and then sought atomic weapons, while the latter is first seeking atomic weapons and, once it has them, will then start a world war.
Netanyahu repeated these remarks at a news conference in April, 2008, stating that "where that [Nazi] regime embarked on a global conflict before it developed nuclear weapons," he said. "This regime [Iran] is developing nuclear weapons before it embarks on a global conflict."[9]
what has hee been smoking
by MRX1 (not verified) on Sun Dec 28, 2008 07:02 PM PSTcomparing Iran with Germany in 1938? Well I think Germany was far more industrilaized, developed and modern back then comparing to even Iran now!
The only thing this guy is right about is the fact that mullah's are after nuclear bomb.Other than that he is full of hot air....
These people are mad, insane, DIVANEH
by Iranian Reader on Sun Dec 28, 2008 07:01 PM PSTNot that they are so crazy as to believe the crap they are spewing, but they are hellbent on provoking people -- and not just provoking states and leaders but ordinary folks like you and me. The only good thing is that they, from Netanyahu and his friends to the resident zionists on this site, are displaying what appears more and more like impotent rage.
Does anyone know when this speech was made?
