بزرگترین توهین

بهره‌برداری رژیم جمهوری اسلامی از كشتگان‌ جنگ خانمانسوز ایران و عراق پس از گذشت دو دهه دراز از پایان این جنگ هم‌چنان ادامه دارد. در آخرین نمایش از این نوع، اجساد چند نفر از این كشتگان به دانشگاه امیركبیر تهران كشانده شدند تا در برابر اعتراض شدید و گسترده دانشجویان این دانشگاه در آن جا به خاك سپرده شود. عوامل رژیم كه در عزم خود بر تبدیل دانشگاه به گورستان مصمم بودند با وسایل ضربتی مختلف به جان دانشجویان معترض افتادند و عده زیادی از آنان را مضروب و مجروح كردند. ده‌ها نفر از دانشجویان نی‍ز دستگیر شدند و به زندان افتادند. شاید برای شكستن حرمت قربانیان جنگ اقدامی بهتر از این نمی‌شد انجام داد. >>>

به سوی راک فارسی

گروه راک «حک» یکی از گروه های فعال در شکل گیری موج موسیقی راک ایران در یک دهه اَخیر بوده است. این گروه مانند بیشتر گروه های راک در ایران یک پروژۀ موسیقی یک نفره می باشد که با همیاری و همکاری موسیقی پردازان متعددی از جمله؛ نوازندگان گروه راک «سرخس» و شهرام شعرباف رهبر گروه راک «اوهام» و نوازندگان و موسیقیدانان حرفه ای مانند؛ رضا اَبائی، کسرا ابراهیمی، اِحسان خواجه مولائی، مونا نامور، علی جبرئیلی به رهبری «مانی صفیخانی» تاکنون به پیش رفته است. پروژۀ حک در سال 2001 میلادی آغاز به فعالیت کرده و تا به امروز 4 آلبوم در سبک های آلترناتیو، فیوژن-راک و پروگرسیو-راک انتشار داده است.>>>

Forgetting they are human

It is now thirty years that the Islamic regime has been engaged in a brutal, systematic and organized persecution of the Baha’is in Iran. This religious sadism, however, has recently been much more intensified. The Islamic Republic forces elementary school teachers to publicly humiliate the Baha’i children, and with utter inhumanity to insult their religion. This is one of the manifestations of their brand of “Islamic Justice” whose like is rarely seen even among the most despotic and racist contemporary regimes of the world. The reactionaries, led in this “holy war” against these children by the leaders of the Hojjatiyeh Association [a secret anti-Baha'i society], have opened up new chapters in the annals of courage and humanity>>>

No War, No Surrender

Those who overlook the lessons of history are likely to repeat the mistakes of the past. President Barack Obama seems to be treading the same path on Iran that former President Jimmy Carter was on. That path led to the disastrous circumstances that are still being felt in today’s political sphere. Carter’s misstep was to turn on a key ally in the region the guise of promoting human rights, thereby assisting in the establishment of the current dictatorship. Carter urged that Shah’s regime take up the cause of human rights, in effect accusing the Shah of Iran, Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, of blatant human rights violations. This was in the midst of Pahlavi’s democratic and economic reforms>>>

Action and Reaction

Any play with Iranian-born Bella (Ramezan-nia) Warda in the cast necessarily draws special attention to the acting. A cautious playwright creates a solid enough work to make her play’s ideas as immune to the quality of acting as possible, and playwright Joyce Van Dyke has done that in A Girl’s War. But powerful actors like Warda dig their spurs deep into the work, making it bolt like a trained animal shocked back into its wild nature. It is noticeable how much the other actors enjoy sharing their scenes with Warda as Arashaluis, the fiercely patriotic Armenian mother. To survive the intensity that this actress brings to the stage, the other actors courageously counter with their own show of force >>>

خیانت کردم

من چون از سکس با شوهرم بدم میامد، برای مدت طولانی فکر می کردم که من اصولا سرد مزاجم، که من از سکس بدم میاد و مشکل خیلی بزرگی در این زمینه دارم. نمیدانستم باید به کی بگم و چه کار بکنم. می دانستم داشتن ارگاسم برای زنها در انتهای عشقبازی با یک مرد چیز مهمیه و خیلی دلم می خواست من هم بدانم که چه احساسیه، اما نمی دانستم باید چکار کنم. حداقل سه بار متوجه شدم که بهم خیانت کرده، اما چون فکر می کردم من سردمزاجم، بعد از قهر و آشتی های وحشتناک بعدش، بخشیدمش و باهاش زندگی می کردم. تا اینکه با مردی سر کارم آشنا شدم و نمیدانم چطور شد که عاشقش شدم. او هم زن داشت. شش ماهی کاری نمی کردیم بجز اینکه تمام روزمان را با هم سرکار بگذرانیم.>>>

جنگ پير با جوان

اين كه سهرابِ نوجوان، بي گفتگو با پدري جهان‌پهلوان، بي هيچ تماسي با او، براي او تصميم‌گيري كند و پندار خامش را بي فراهم كردن تمهيدات لازم، عملي كند؛ حداقل، دستِ كم گرفتنِ رستم است و تنها از بي تجربگي ناشي مي‌شود. فراموش نكنيم كه برخي از پهلوانان شاهنامه، همچون زال و رستم مي‌توانسته‌اند تاج بر سر نهند و شاه ايران شوند؛ اما ترجيح داده‌اند پهلوان باقي بمانند. پشت و پناه مردم، شاهان و سرزمين‌شان باشند و هر زمان فرۀ ايزدي از شاهي، با خارج شدن از مسير داد و دهش، گسست، شاهي دادگر بيابند. در سراسر شاهنامه مهم‌ترين وظيفة پهلوانان غير از دفاع از سرزمين‌شان، نظارت بر كار شاهان است؛ مهار خودكامگي؛ نصيحت شاهان و در صورت لزوم تنبيه آن‌ها و اين همه امكان را با اثبات غمخواري و از خودگذشتگي كسب كرده‌اند. هر زمان لازم بوده از هيچ كوششي براي ياري رساندن به مردم و سرزمينشان فروگذار نكرده‌اند.>>>

The Iranian Revolution at 30

Thirty years ago the Iranian revolution overthrew the Pahlavi monarchy in Iran. It subsequently became known as the Islamic revolution, although it had a much wider base than that, and it was only its further developments that led to the Islamic revolution. The shah believed that he was highly popular with his own people, an illusion which was both due to the rapid increases in the standards of living and the fact that his system did not allow any criticism, least of all of his policies, to be made by anyone however high in society. He would therefore gauge his relationship with the people from sycophantic reports and stage-managed demonstrations of public support on certain occasions. His greatest tragedy, thus, was that he became a victim of his own propaganda>>>

2012 and beyond

Let me tell you in no uncertain terms that we are facing a synchronised global economic depression and I am not the only one that is saying this. In early February, the International Monetary Fund’s chief Dominique Strauss-Kahn said the world's advanced economies -- the U.S., Western Europe and Japan -- are "already in depression”. Gordon Brown, the UK’s Prime Minister also used the word "depression" to describe the global economy, although his aides quickly said it was a slip of the tongue. The politicians and others of course avoid using the term “depression” for fear of creating a panic; instead they use terms such as “severe recession” or “one of the most serious financial crises since the great depression”, etc. >>>

Crisis of legitimacy

World Public opinions regarding the United Nations and all of its component parts vary from absolute ignorance of its history, structure and purpose to an outright dismissal of the entire organization as a dysfunctional international agency. Sandwiched between the two are the opinions of those who lament the “real” United Nations and its departure from what it could be, and then there are those who are operating within the context of realpolitik—the realist theory of international relations-- and see it as viable mechanism for conflict resolution provided that the governance and the decisions are left to the most powerful nations. این بانگ آزادیست

نظام اسلامی با فرستادن قربانیان تصفیۀ زندان­ها به خاوران می­خواست حذف متافیزیکی آنان را مکمل حذف فیزیکی آنها بنماید. از دیدگاه مذهبی کافرستان نقطه ایست که آنچه نفی کنندۀ تقدس است باید یکسره و بی تمایز در آن گنجانده شود. یکسره و بی تمایز از این جهت که مذهب برای آنچه ضد تقدس است ارجی قائل نیست تا بین اجزای آن تمایزی قائل گردد و به حسابی از یکدیگر مجزایشان سازد. همۀ آنها را فقط به تناسب خود تعریف میکند و یکسره نفی می­نماید، اصلاً برایشان اعتبار مستقل قائل نمی شود تا تعریفی اثباتی از آنها عرضه بدارد. از این دیدگاه کافرستان محل نیست شدن آن چیزهایی است که از اصل نمی بایستی بوده باشد و حوالۀ عدم مطلق شده است >>>

قفل شدگی در گذشته

به جهان نوين عصر روشنگری که بنگريم در آن «نوآوری» و «بدعت» به اموری پسنديده و تشويق تبديل می شوند. در اين جهان است که انسان تربيت می شود تا با ناشناخته ها روياروی شود، دل سنگ و تاريکی و جمود را بشکند و به چشمه های زلال و آب های روان دست يابد، مرزهای دانش خويش را هر لحظه به پيشتر ببرد و همواره مراقب باشد که گذشته قفل اش را بر گرد دست و پای او نبندد. تنها اين انسان است که از تحول عقايدش نه هراس دارد و نه تشويش. آماده است تا حرفی، سخنی، اشاره ای، اطلاعی، اشرافی، و برخوردی از راه برسد و ميدان دل و ديده اش را فراخ تر کند. او از گذشته فقط نردبامی برای بر شدن به سقف فلک می سازد و از زبان نيوتون می گويد که «من اگر افق های دورتری را ديدم بدان خاطر بود که بر شانهء مردان بلند قامت گذشته ايستاده بودم». >>>
